Contest Terms & Conditions

This Contest is organized by Viacom18 Media Private Limited (“Organizers”) and sponsored by the sponsors across the Contest as more particularly listed below (“Sponsors”
a. Motorola Mobility India Pvt Ltd for its brand ‘Motorola’ (‘Motorola’);
b. Gibson Brands Inc. for its brand ‘Philips’ (‘Philips’);
c. Jade Services Pvt Ltd (‘Jabong’);
d. Sonnet Luggage Pvt Ltd (‘Sonnet’);

The Contest is open to all applicants for participation who meet the following requirements for participation (“Participants”):
a. citizens of India;
b. who are above 18 (Eighteen) years of age;
c. are viewers of the channel “MTV Beats” (“Channel”); and
d. are mobile subscribers of Airtel, Vodafone, Aircel, Idea, MTNL Mumbai, Reliance and Tata (“Service Providers”).

To participate in the Contest, a Participant need to answer 1 (one) question with multiple options that shall be provided on the Channel or any other platform as may be determined by the Organizer during the Contest Period (as defined hereinafter) through modes of participation as provided below.

The questions may vary every day during the Contest Period (“Contest Entries”). The Participant may participate more than once, however, each participant shall be eligible to win only one prize every day. This is a daily contest and different questions will be raised / provided by the Organizers for each day of the Contest Period.

Every day questions will differ and every day of the Contest Period, the Winners shall be selected based on maximum correct answers on first come basis determined by the Organizer in its sole discretion for said Contest.

However, 1 (one) participant can win 1 (one) prize only during the Daily Contests, even if he/she has answered correctly for all questions. If the winner gets repeated, the next best will be selected as a winner as per the selection of winner mechanism mentioned in the terms and conditions.

Mode of Participation

A Participant may participate in the Contest by following below steps, during the Contest Period (defined below):

a. Via SMS, by sending an SMS <name of participant> <space> <correct answer in words> to 8082480824 through their respective mobile Service Providers.

Contest Period

a. The Contest shall commence from 6:00 am hours on 1st December 2017, and shall conclude at 18:00 pm hours on 31st December 2017 (“Contest Period”) comprising of 31 (thirty-one) daily contests on each day of the Contest Period (“Daily Contests”).

b. Each Daily Contest shall commence at 6:00 am hours and conclude for such respective day at 18:00 pm hours and the Participants willing to participate in the Contest would be required to send their Contest Entries for each day of the Contest before 18:00 pm hours for the given day of the Contest (“Daily Contest Cut-Off Time”).

c. Any entries received after the respective Daily Contest Cut-off Time for the said Daily Contest shall not be entertained and shall be considered ineligible for the said Daily Contest.

d. Winners for each day of the Daily Contests shall be announced after the Daily Contest Cut-Off Time at any time during the same day or at such other date/s as decided by the Organizer in their sole discretion during the Contest Period or such other time as may be determined by the Organizer (“Winner Announcement Date”). Mode and manner of announcement of Winner shall be determined at sole discretion of the Organiser.

Selection of Winners

a. During the Contest Period, for daily Contests commencing from 1st December 2017 upto 20th December 2017 at the end of the Daily Contest Cut-Off Time for such dates, the Organizers shall select a total of 4 (four) Participants per Daily Contest on maximum entries for the respective Daily Contest and who have answered the questions correctly on first come basis as determined by the Organizer as the winners of the respective Daily Contest.

And during the Contest Period, for daily Contests commencing from 21st December 2017 upto 31st December 2017 at the end of the Daily Contest Cut-Off Time for such dates, the Organizers shall select a total of 3 (three) Participants per Daily Contest on maximum entries for the respective Daily Contest and who have answered the questions correctly on first come basis as determined by the Organizer as the winners of the respective Daily Contest.

b. In this manner, the Organizers shall select total of 113 (one hundred and thirteen) Participants across the Contest Period as winners of the Contest.

All winners declared by the Organizer shall hereinafter be collectively called as “Winners” and each such Winner shall be eligible for gratification as detailed below which shall be given and distributed directly and as per the sole discretion of the respective Sponsor/s.

It is clarified for the avoidance of doubt that 4 (four) Winners during Contest Period 1st December 2017 to 20th December 2017 and 3 (three) Winners during Contest Period 21st December 2017 to 31st December 2017 will be selected for each Daily Contest and in this manner, an aggregate of 113 (one hundred and thirteen) Winners shall be selected across the entire Contest Period.

The Winners for each Daily Contest shall be announced on the Winner Announcement Date and shall be eligible for gratification (as more particularly mentioned herein below) as determined by the Sponsor/s, subject to these Terms and Conditions and any further rules as may be imposed by the Organizer in its sole discretion.

All the Prizes will be distributed at the end of the Contest, at such date/s and time/s as may be determined by the Organiser in its sole discretion.

a. The Winners of each Daily Contest as declared by the Organizers would be eligible to win the prizes sponsored by the respective Sponsor/s, strictly in the manner mentioned below:
