T&C – INVITE & EARN :
Invite your friends to download Chillr and you get Rs.100 when they complete their 1st transaction on Chillr. Offer valid only till 31st of October.

** Chillr – a brand by Backwater Technologies is holding the “INVITE & EARN” Offer (here-in-after referred to as “Offer”) which is valid throughout India except in the states where prohibited by law.
** The offer is valid till October 31st, 2015 23.59 Hrs.
** The user must invite a friend to download Chillr from the in-app menu, after which the friend should complete his/her first successful transaction on Chillr during the offer period to be eligible for participating in the contest.
** User will also be eligible for Rs.100 if his/her friend registers using the users’ referral code and completes first successful transaction.
** A person is eligible to win only if he/she participates during the days of the offer.
** Both recharges & outward money transfers are considered for “first transaction”.
** There is no limit to the number of friends a user can invite to avail this offer. Inviter will be eligible for ?100 for every successful Invite.
** Successful invite is when a new user registers on Chillr using the Invite link/ Referral code shared by an existing Chillr user and completes his/her first transaction.
** Only Partner Bank ( Bank of Baroda and HDFC Bank ) users are eligible to avail the offer.
** A person who has already transacted on Chillr can not be invited & hence will not be considered for the ?100 cash prize.
** The Rs.100 cash prize will be credited directly to bank account of user within 72 hours of successful activation (transaction) of the Invitee.
** Participating in The offer implies that you agree to all Terms & Conditions of The Offer. Anybody found using any unfair means will be immediately disqualified.

** In the event of any conflict or inconsistency regarding any instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional material relating to the Contest, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail over all such other instructions, rules and conditions.

** The prize cannot be exchanged with any product or item, is non transferable and cannot be en-cashed under any circumstances.
** Backwater Technologies reserves the absolute right to amend the terms and conditions of The offer or extend The offer Period or cancel or discontinue The Contest or any part thereof without giving any reasons or prior notice.

General Terms & Conditions :
1. The Contest is valid for Indian residents who are 18 years or above, except employees and family members of Backwater Technologies and its affiliate / associate / subsidiary companies and their suppliers, advertising agencies and Event Management Company

2. All applicable taxes including but not limited to income (withholding) tax and any other statutory levy as may be applicable from time to time in relation to the prize shall be borne by the winners. The winners are solely responsible for any other expense related to the acceptance of prizes and Backwater Technologies or its associate companies shall not in any manner be liable or responsible for the same. The winners shall be required to submit a Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn in the name of ‘Backwater Technologies’ payable at Kochi for an amount equivalent to the tax payable under Income Tax regulation (which at present is 30.9% of the amount of the prize) prior to receiving the prize.

3. The prize shall be awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if the winning customer is unable to be contacted till 30 days after the contest is over, or if any prize is unclaimed or declined by or before 30 days from the closure of The Contest after receipt of communication to winning customer, the prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unacceptable and will become void.

4. The winners will be communicated through a phone call or e-mail and they are required to share their contact details within 14 days after the winners are announced. The participants also must mention the date on which they participated while sending their details.

5. The winners will be sent emails intimating them about their prize. The winners need to send a copy of PAN Card (Self attested), Photo ID Proof i.e. copy of driving license or Passport or Voter ID Card or Ration Card (Self attested), Address proof : Driving license / Passport / Voter ID Card /Electricity Bill (shouldn’t be more than 6 months old) (Self attested) in the manner and within such time period as provided in the email.

6. Upon receipt of the documents and after verification of the information provided by the winners, Backwater Technologies shall dispatch the prize to the winners online or through courier at the address which is mentioned on the address proof submitted by the winner. The winners shall be sent emails informing them of the POD number / Airway Bill Number (AWB) for the courier enabling them to track the status of their prize (if any).

7. Entries should not (i) contain any inappropriate, harmful, vulgar, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, objectionable or offensive language or content; or (ii) should not violate the rights of any party; or (iii) contain anything which, if published, would adversely affect the reputation of Backwater Technologies.

8. In the event that a winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the Prize in the time required, the prize will be forfeited.

9. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook/Twitter. The participant is providing their information to Backwater Technologies and not to any social media website. By participating in The Contest, the participant hereby consents to the accessing of information and/or images of the user on Facebook/Twitter by Backwater Technologies and/or its event management company for the purpose of this Contest. Further, Backwater Technologies shall be at liberty to use the entries received for its media coverage, advertisement or publicity in any form which is existing today or will be known anytime in the future without any further consideration to the participants including promotion of any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by it.

10. The participation in The Contest is voluntary. Participation in this Contest constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions. By participating in this Contest, participant agrees to receive communication(s) from Backwater Technologies and/or its event management company relating to The Contest and participant unconditionally agrees not to make any claim or raise any complaint against Backwater Technologies and/or the event management company in this respect.
