Gate Academy National Engineering Challenge

National Engineering Challenge ’2018 is India’s biggest national level engineering quiz competition, one of its kinds in India, targeting 1000+ engineering colleges in 150+ cities across India with total prize amount of Rs.25,00,000.

Registrations

(i) To participate in NEC 2018 it is mandatory to register on NEC website nec.thegateacademy.com
(ii) All the fields mentioned on the signup form are mandatory.
(iii) Fill in your correct details. As you will receive further updates on your provided details only.
(iv) It is mandatory to register with Gmail ID only.
(iv) THE GATE ACADEMY students must fill the details which are already registered with the THE GATE ACADEMY. Otherwise benefit of fee refund will be revoked.

(If the registred mail ID is not gmail ID, please register for NEC with gmail ID and send us a mail to nec@thegateacademy.com communicating us of new and registered ID)

Awards

** NEC Round 1 Award Rs 23,00,000/- Worth free GATE coaching to 100 students
** NEC Round 2 Award Rs 1,20,000/- Worth tabGATE (Tablets with GATE content)
** NEC Round 3 Award Rs 1,50,000/- Cash Prizes to winner and runner team

Reimbursements

(i) Round-2: Travel/food expense of upto Rs.1000/- will reimbursed. For reimbursement participants are need to submit their travel tickets with correct bank account details by 17th Feb 2017. Participants will receive the reimbursement amount by 15th April 2017.
(No reimbursement will be done if the bank account details are incorrect or given after 17th Feb 2017)

(ii) Round-3: Travel expense upto Rs.5000/- will be reimbursed for the finalists. For reimbursement finalist must submit their travel tickets by 10th of June 2017 with proper bank account details. Reimbursement amount will be credited to their respective accounts by 9th Aug 2017.
(No reimbursement will be done if the bank account details are incorrect or given after 10th June 2017)

(iii) Fee Refund: If round-1 winners are already registered with TGA will get the fee refund by 15th April 2017. For fee refund participants are need to submit their bank account details by 15th Feb 2017.

Logistics & Accommodation :
(i) Round 3: THE GATE ACADEMY will bear the expense for accommodation for GRAND FINALE. TGA will book the hotels for top 10 finalists and will share the hotel details 30th June 2017.
(ii) Participants need to arrange travel for round-2 & round-3 on their own

Round 2 (Zonal Selection): 17th & 18th March 2018

** At nearest TGA center
** 2 Hours (11:00am to 01:00 pm)
** GA, Maths & General Science
** 10 winners and 90 Runner Ups
** Result Date – 21st March 2018
** Eligibility – Should Clear Round 1

Round 3 (National Finale): 8th July 2018
** Multi level Quiz
** In Bangalore
** 3 hours (9:30am to 12:30pm)
** GA, Maths & General Science
** 2 winners + 2 runners up
** Result Date – 8th July 2018
** Eligibility – Should Clear Round 2
