M.P. Law College Power Point Presentation Contest
It gives us immense pleasure to invite your institution to participate in the VII National Power Point Presentation Contest- 2018 to be held on 9th Feb. 2018 at M. P. Law College, Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

This contest has been designed with the following objectives in mind :
1. To enhance the soft skills amongst students.
2. To develop the art of public speaking.
3. To encourage self learning among students.
4. To stimulate their thinking process and sensitize them towards contemporary social legal problems.
5. To enable them to organize their thoughts and present them in a systematic manner.
6. To get the students familiarized with information technology and use them effectively in the self learning process.
Rules For Competition
1. Competition is restricted to bonafide regular students of Law School/ Law College/ Law University. All participants must be students of LL.B. / B.L. and may be either from three years or five years course.
2. The participants will have to bear their travelling and all other incidental expenses.
3. Free lodging and boarding shall be provided to the participant short listed for the final round of the competition.
4. There is no entry fees for the contest.
Phases of Competition
5. Participants shall send the soft copies of PPT and Registration form on the following e-Mail ID mplcppt@gmail.com
6. The contest calls for submission of hard copy of the power point presentation that has to be drafted by the participant on any socio – legal subject / contemporary legal issues of their choices on following address

7. Same subject power point presentation which was submitted in the immediate preceding competition will not be accepted.
8. The contest has TWO rounds:
a) The Screening Round
b) The Final Round
9. In the screening round the presentations will be sent to a panel of judges constituting legal luminaries. A total of fifteen presentations will be short listed for the Final Round.
10. The Fifteen presentations that qualify for the final round would be intimated in advance of their qualifying for the final round.
11. The Final Round of the contest shall be held at M. P. Law College Premises, Aurangabad. The fifteen participants who have qualified for the final round would have to present their Power Point Presentations before a panel of judges.
12. The selected participants for the final round of the competition shall be provided accommodation from 8.00 pm on 8th Feb. to 9th Feb. 2018 till 8.00 pm. breakfast, lunch would be provided by the college on the day of the competition.
13. The participants will get a maximum time of 15 minutes for their presentations.
Presentations
14. The presentations shall be compatible with Microsoft Office 2007.
15. It may have a maximum of 15 slides.
Criteria For Judgement
16. In the Screening Round the power point presentations of the participants would be screened for 10 marks each on –
a) Content
b) Subject Analysis
c) Innovative Ideas, originality and creativity
d) Inclusion of Audio/ Video effects, exceptional use of power point skill and techniques
e) Conclusion
17. In the Final Round the Power Point Presentations would be presented by the participants and would be judged for 10 marks each on –
f) Speech Content
g) Body Language
h) Articulation and Conveyance of Thoughts
i) Handling of Technicalities with comfort
j) Time Management
18. In all the participants would be given scores out of a total of 100 marks.
19. The decision of the College authorities shall be final in case of any dispute arises.
20. The participants will have to give an undertaking that their work is original. Students are advised to give proper references/ due credit to the author whether of a book/ internet source for any thought idea or phrases that may have been copied from such work.
21. The presentations once made shall be the property of M.P. Law College and must not have been submitted by the participant elsewhere earlier nor shall be submitted elsewhere at a latter date.
