Eligibility To Participate

This Contest is valid for all active Prepaid and Postpaid Airtel Subscribers who fulfill the following criteria at the time of participation and during the Contest Period

i. Subscriber must be an individual and his/her age should be 18 years or more.
ii. Subscriber must be a citizen of India.
iii. He/she must not have any criminal record (i.e. neither convicted nor prosecuted for commission of any criminal offence) or be of an unsound mind.
iv. He/she must have a firm contractual capacity and must not be under any legal disability e.g. insolvency, restraint by court orders etc. and / or is otherwise prohibited from entering any contractual relationship.

Note:
An active prepaid and post-paid Subscriber shall mean the Subscriber who uses the Subscriber Identity Module (“SIM”) on a regular basis for purposes other than to participate in this contest or any other contest offered by Organizer to active Subscribers of Airtel.

Contest Period

The Contest shall run for the period of 90 days commencing from 3rd January 2018 at 00:00:01 hours in the morning and concluding on 2nd April 2018 at 23:59:59 hours (both days inclusive) (hereinafter referred as the “Contest Period”).

Register/Subscribe

a. Registration/Subscription can be done by calling 53111 or by sending SMS SUB to 53111. Subscription will be done for 999 days. Modes of registration/ subscription can be added or suspended (due to unavoidable issues on which Organizer does not have any control) during the duration of the contest.

b. On subscribing through any of the above mentioned modes, the successful Subscriber will receive an acknowledgement SMS on his/her mobile number registered with Airtel informing him/her about his subscription status.

c. If a subscribed user wants to unsubscribe from the contest then it can be done by typing ‘UNSUB’ and sending it as an SMS to 53111 (toll-free) or by calling the toll-free number 53111.

Charging

a. All the subscribers of contest will be charged Rs. 30/-, with below mentioned fallback along with validity depending on the available balance on his/her MSISDN registered with Airtel

b. All subscribed/registered users will be charged from the 1st day of the contest, or the day that he/she subscribes/registers to the contest, till the end of the contest, or till the day he/she unsubscribes from the contest, whichever happens first, irrespective of whether the contest subscribers play the contest or not. This Charging Amount will not be refunded to subscribers under any circumstances.

c. On non-contest days the subscribers will not be charged.

d. All contest subscribers will be allowed to play the contest once they subscribe on the service with mentioned price points. If the charging fails for any particular Month during the contest, the subscribed user will be allowed to play the contest for that month, however the questions attempted by such subscriber shall not be considered for the Winner selection process for any of the prizes under the contest.

Construct

a. User can dial 53111 or send SMS to 53111 to play the contest.

b. User will get the option to choose between the following two (2) contests:
i. Airtel Megawin Contest
ii. Airtel Megawin Inamo ki Barsaat

c. User can subscribe for both the above mentioned contests at the same time and play.

d. In Airtel Megawin Inamo ki Barsaat contest, user will get an option to choose category (mentioned in Annexure A – Gratification Grid) to play the contest. Once a category has been chosen by the user, it cannot be changed for that whole month. A user can be eligible to win prize only in the category chosen by him/her for that month.

e. Every new month user has to select a category to play further.
f. Every month 5 categories will be available to the user to play for.
g. Contest is based for monthly.
h. Winners will be declared after the end of Contest Period.

Winner Selection

1. The selection of the winner of the Contest, shall take place after completion of the Contest. Winner selection will be done based on following criteria in the same order as mentioned below:

a) Highest Score
b) Minimum attempts
c) Minimum time taken

d) In case there is tie between the users on above mentioned criteria, then tie breaker round will be conducted. In case of a tie, the Subscribers who have tied will be asked to answer a set of 5 tie breaker questions. The Subscriber who answers the maximum questions correctly in the given time or in case both the Subscribers answer equal number of questions, the Subscriber who answers the maximum questions correctly in the least time, will be selected as the winner.

2. The process of Winner selection for each category of prize, in accordance with the Winner selection process detailed in this Contest, will be witnessed by Independent External Auditor appointed by the Organizer (“Independent Auditor”) who shall certify the Winners. The decision of Independent External Auditor shall be final and binding on the Subscribers.

3. All decisions of Organizer in respect of all transactions under this Contest, including without limitation the selection of Winners as certified by the Independent Auditor and other related transactions shall be final and binding and no correspondence or communication shall be entertained in this regard.

4. A Subscriber will be entitled to win only once during the entire Contest Period. If the same person having different MSISDN (mobile/cell number) has been selected more than once, in such event he/she will be awarded only one Prize. If a Subscriber is declared as winner in more than one category of prizes, then he/she shall be entitled for only one prize of highest value.
