General Instructions

1. APEIRON 2018 has 3 events for UG, 3 events for PG and 4 events for both UG and PG students.
2. Registration fees:
Early bird : Rs.125/- per participant (Closes on 25 January, 2018)
Regular : Rs.150/- per participant (Closes on 31 January, 2018)
3. One participant can take part in maximum of two events and no overlapping will be entertained.
4. There is no restriction on number of teams per college
5. Lunch and refreshment will be provided. No TA/DA will be paid to the participants.

Event Instructions

CONSPECTUS (11.00 am-12.00 noon) – Only for UG students:
** Be wise, Be a conquer of oration! : Respond to the topic given on the spot.
** This event tests the orating skills of the participant.
** One participant per team.

COMPENDIUM (11.00 am – 12.00 noon) – For PG students:
** Participate! Present! Prevail! : Express your ideas through power point.
** This explores the presentation skill and innovative ideas of the participant.
** One participant per team.

WINGDING (11.00 am -12.00 noon) – For both UG & PG students:
** Excite! Entertain! Enjoy! : Perform the given task as a team.
** It’s a surprise event which will test the action skills of the participants.
** Two participants per team.

FERRET (12.00 noon- 01.00 pm) – Only for UG students:
** Unlocking knowledge at the speed of thought! : It’s a quiz.
** This event will evaluate the knowledge of the contesting team in broad area of Science and General Knowledge.
** Two participants per team.

DELVE INTO (12.00 noon – 01.00 pm) – Only for UG students:
** Run! Rush! Reveal! : Explore the given clues and hunt your treasure.
** This event assesses the knowledge and athletic skills of the participants.
** Two participants per team.

ANVESHANA (12.00 noon – 01.00 pm) – For PG students:
** Connect! Crack! Complete! : Discover the hidden target by solving the given puzzles.
** Testing the sense of problem solving skills of the participant is the motto of the event.
** Two participants per team.

PHOTO’TRON (12.00 noon – 01.00 pm) – For both UG & PG students:
** Snap! Scribble! Share! : Take a photo in the mobile and write a brief note with appropriate caption.
** Use your creativity and capture the moments that look scientific to your eye in the allotted premises of the University.
** One participant per team.

BRAINSTORM (02.00 pm – 03.00 pm) – For PG students:
** “Vision with action can change the world!” – Joel Arthur Barker’s statement is the theme of the event.
** The participant’s broad perspective in the field of Physics which triggers the vision with action will be tested.
** Two participants per team.

WIZARD (02.00 pm – 03.00 pm) – For both UG & PG students:
** Involve! Ignite! Inspire! : This event will bring out the enlighten talent of the budding Physicist.
** The purpose of this contest is to test the logical and time management skill of the participants beyond academics.
** One participant per team.

VIRTUOSO (03.00 pm – 04.00 pm) – For both UG & PG students:
** Amuse! Amaze! Admire! : The event focuses on the variance of the performing skill of the team.
** The team must present a scientific theme in the form of dance or song or skit or as fusion.
** Maximum of five participants per team.
