EERA Academy Installation Art Contest

Installation art is an artistic genre of three-dimensional works that often are site-specific and designed to transform the perception of a space.

Generally, the term is applied to interior spaces, whereas exterior interventions are often called public art, land art or intervention art; however, the boundaries between these terms overlap.

Artist are invited to send their proposals on installation art contest. EERA Academy is conducting this contest to support practicing artist with an art studio space and stipend.

Duration

1 week – Artist will be supposed to complete the installation in one week. Studio will be provided by EERA. ( Stipend available – INR 1,200 per diem)

Application

8th to 31st Jan 2018 (Submissions Last Date 24:00, G.M.T. 31st Jan)

The following information is required from applicants:
** A portfolio of work as a PDF attachment under 15mb. It should include recent work and contextualise this with reference to older work.
** A proposal letter, minimum 500 words in length, with a summary of the applicant’s practice and explaining why they are a suitable candidate for the Installation Art .
** Recent resume

Short-listed applicants will be invited to a Skype interview, scheduled for the first week of Feb. Short-listed applicants will then be contacted on 8 Feb with a final decision.
