Optimisation Contest AOC :

Altair India announces the 5th edition of its popular Optimisation Contest (AOC 2016: India) this program is meant for Faculty of Mechanical, Automobile, Aerospace, Civil & Production Engineering. This year the contest will caterAnalysis Stream (CAE/CFD/MBD). We are also pleased to continue with our Industry Partners from past year’s contest – and welcome new ones.

Objective of AOC 2016 :
** India will be for Faculty to offer solutions to a combination of Analysis Stream (CAE/CFD/MBD)
** Defined Optimisation contest problems using Altair’s industry leading optimisation solution “OptiStruct, Radioss, AcuSolve & MotionSolve”
** Their own defined problems analysed / optimised using Altair HyperWorks
** All completed entries will be judged* by Panel of Design & Analysis experts from our Industry Partners at Altair India

Contest Awards from Altair India:
1st Prize: iPad or equivalent Voucher + Certificate of Recognition
2nd Prize: iPad mini or equivalent Voucher + Certification of Recognition
** All complete submissions submitted by due date will get a Certificate of Participation.

Altair Optimisation Contest 2015 Schedule:
** Announcement of Program & Registration by Students- Registration Will start from 20 November, 2015 last date to register the contest 31 March, 2016
** Upon Registration and Screening Altair will grant access to 1 license of Altair HyperWorks Student Edition License to the eligible Student for FREE- 25 November, 2015 To 15 April, 2016
**Contest Scope Definition- 25 December, 2015
**Student Project Creation Phase- 25 December, 2015 to 30 April, 2016
**Results, Models and Report Submission Last Date-20 March, 2016 Onwards!
**Last date of submission -15 May, 2016
**Announcement of Results- Results will be announce on 30 May, 2016
**Awards Presentation – Date & Venue to be announced!
