Photography Workshop

Event Date/Time : 17th Feb 2018, 10:30 A.M. to 4 P.M.
Venue : MIT ADT University, MIT Institute of Design, Loni Kalbhor, Pune

Whether you own a point-and-shoot or a more advanced DSLR, this workshop will give you a better grasp of your chosen tool and the skills to make successful images. We will focus on core photographic concepts as well as some more advanced techniques.

The workshop will include hands-on demonstrations with the camera as well as basic digital image editing techniques.

We will discuss the work of great photographers alongside your own photographs in order to better understand the fundamentals of composition to create compelling imagery. Expect to leave the workshop with a project you are proud of and a working knowledge of your camera.

Rules & Regulations

** A digital CAMERA is your top priority. It does not matter which kind, though full manual exposure controls are helpful. Having RAW capability is nice but not essential
** Only first 50 registrations for the workshop (online registration compulsory for EVERYONE)
** Registration fee for workshop is 100 Rs.
** Payment will be accepted one hour prior to the event at MIT Institute of Design (Foyer).
** No registration charges for MIT Photography Club member.
** All Participants should carry I Card of their respective Institutes/Colleges.
** MIT Photography Club members should carry their reciept as well as their college ID card.
** Payment for the workshop will start at 9.30 am at MIT Institute of Design (Foyer).

“O’Click” Online Photography Competition

Event Date/Time : 18th Feb 2018 & 19th Feb 2018 10:30 A.M. to 4.00 P.M.

Photography competition aims to motivate and explore in camera handling, understanding photography techiniques and provides a prestigious platform for both established and new photographers.

Your photographs must be your own original concept and not a copy of anyone else’s copyrighted material. By entering the competition, you agree to abide by all rules.

Topic for Photography Competition “Social Issues or City Life” On line Photography Competition. On-line entries are called in the format of JPEG or PDF. Size 12”x18” with 300 DPI (no watermark on picture).

Rules & Regulations

** The Competition is open for All Universities, Institutes / Colleges.
** Last Date of Entry 10 February 2018.
** Photographs should be captured in any DSLR only.
** Maxinum 3 entries are allowed. Sizes of Art Work should be not less than 12”x18”.
** No mobile photography allowed.
** Participants whose entries have been selected will be informed by mail.
** The Winning entry will be the property of MIT Photogrpahy Club.
** All Participants should carry I Card of their respective Institutes/Colleges.
** Photographs should be originally clicked by the participants.
** Registration fee for online photography competition is 100Rs. Send your competition amount of 100Rs. on “PAYTM” No. 9324650620 & send screen shot of transaction, name, Mobile no. and PAYTM number on mail ID vishakhachaplotjain [AT] gmail.com.
** All the necessary details of the payment should be sent in a single mail on the email id mentioned above.
