Amity University AYF’18

Amity Youth festival 2018 is a 3-day annual event organized by the students of Amity University, Uttar Pradesh.

AYF’18 will be a perfect platform for all young students, invited from all over the country from other Universities & Colleges, to display their talent & participate in various technical and cultural competitions, to have an experience of a lifetime and an opportunity to network while celebrating our cherished culture, heritage and values.

Cultural Events

Dramataaz Workshop

Dramataaz workshop will be organized for interested students from January 2018 mid by experts to prepare them in various areas of theatre with ultimate objective of presenting a ‘Play’ to be staged outside the campus in ‘Siri Fort Audi’ as a ticketing event.

Oscillations

OSCILLATIONS is a dias bringing to you an euphoric combat of western group dancing. Come, fire the stage with your modern grooves.

Eligibility :
** All participants should be from a certified institute and must carry their institutional ID cards on the day of event for registration.
** The competition is for current students only; professional artists are not allowed. Any involvement of such will lead to disqualification.
** Teams can perform any type of Western Dances.
** Team size minimum 5 members to a maximum of 20 members.
** All participants are required to report at the registration desk, an hour prior to the scheduled time.
** Any misconduct by contestants will lead to on spot disqualification.
** Multiple entries from every college are allowed.
** Each group is required to have a group name.

Rangraise

RANGRAISE, is a group folk dance competition staging all Indian and abroad folks.
Registration :
** Contestant should register and complete the registration forms before the given last date.
** You will be provided with a contestant ID which is to be used for further communication with any member of Amity’s organizing committee
** You will be notified regarding the event timings and schedules through the given web-address and email
** Registration fee Rs. 200 per person
** Carry a pen-drive/CD containing your piece of music that is to be submitted to the organizing team two hours earlier
** Judge’s decision is final in case of any disputes, complaints or controversies arising in context of AYF.

Technical Events

Drone Racing

A competitive event for racing enthusiasts where students will bring their drones to battle for the amazing prizes and a chance of showcasing their skills over the race track and tackling the obstacles.

Pixels Photography Competition & Exhibition

The photography competition is organized by PIXELS : The Photography Society of Amity University every year since last 10 years and is open to students of all Indian colleges and universities. The competition is a platform for the budding photographers to showcase their work. The theme of this year for the competition is “Untitled – The Story Behind Art”.

Please keep in mind the following guidelines before sending the picture across :
a) Each participant can only send two pictures
b) Pictures should not carry any kind of watermark in any form (adding will lead to disqualification)
c) The last date for the submission of entries for the competition is February 24, 2018. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
d) Editing is allowed in any form.
