NOTE: The students participating in the paper presentation can send there full paper and it should be in IEEE format.It is not mandatory to submit you paper because the paper submitted through this form will be printed in the event proceedings(Book) only.

Event Details

Paper Presentation

The original reflective of this event comes along with sound articulation, excellent communication and stunning presentation. So start refreshing the minds with your savvy thoughts.
Topics:
1. Recent trends in Power system
2. Renewable Energy sources
3. High Voltage Engineering
4. Wireless power transmission
5. Embedded real time system
6. IOT
Rules and regulation:
1. One soft copy in a pendrive and two hard copies (with the college name, title of the paper, Mail ID and phone number) at the time of presentation.
2. Copies must be in MS-power point (PPT) format with 1.5line spacing in Times New Roman and Font size=’12’.
3. 7minutes for presentation and 3minutes for Queries.
4. Last date for paper submission is 03/03/2018.
5. The article must carry the name of the authors, the name of their institution and their respective e-mail address.
6. LCD Projectors will be provided during presentation.

Circuit Debugging

Dumped with technical knowledge? Like to enhance your ability? Then rush to rectify the faults at the Electrical Circuits. Exhibit your logical and reasoning at this technical platform. Start finding the technical faults.
Rules and regulation:
1. Number of participants per team:2
2. Number of teams per college: unlimited
3. Duration: 30 minutes
4. Cross college teams are allowed
Rounds:
1. A preliminary round will be conducted to choose 10 teams for the second round.
2. Further filtrations will be done in second round and third round and 5 teams will be chosen finally.
3. The final teams which features working circuit wins the prizes.
4. The decision of the circuit master is final.

Hotspot

Hotspot is an all round-fun event that is all about the control of the mind over the mouth. Can you make it through sixty seconds of non-stop talking without hesitation, repetition, or deviation? Or will the sheer pressure make you crumble and have your competitors pounce on you in an instant?
Rules and regulation:
1. Individual participant.
2. Topic is given in ON stage (Tamil Titles).
3. Only one round.

Project Expo

Project Expo is a technical event in which the participants should prepare their project at home and they have to bring the project to demonstrate before the judges. There is only one round and the best is chosen by the judges and the respective prizes are given away.
Rules and regulation:
1. Individual (or) two members per team.
2. Project should be relevant to Engineering domain.
3. Need hardware.
4. 10 minutes per presentation and 3 minutes for queries.

PICTO

Two or more relative pictures will be shown. Guess the answer from the the pictures
Rules and regulation:
1. Two participants per team.
2. Questions will be general not based on Technical.
3. Rounds will be conducted based on the number of participants.

Photography

Photographers of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels are invited to enter their best single images captured inside the college to win the prize.
Rules and regulation:
1. Individual participant, You should bring your Equipments.
2. Capture must be in mode of auto, cloud, florescent, day light, sunrays.
3. Zooming size: 18mm,24mm,35mm.

Short Film

Short Film Competition is a true way to find the talent within you. Submit your Short Film and see where you land up.
Rules and regulation:
1. Maximum three(3) members per team.
2. Maximum time limit is seven(7) minutes and no copy right allowed.
3. Any short film show casing vulgarity (or) harmful to a person will be rejected.

Technical Quiz

Quiz-“Question Under Intelligent Zone”, Technical Quiz is a form of game or mind sport, in which the players (in teams) attempt to answer questions correctly. It is a game to test your knowledge, abilities, and/or skills, are you ready to test yours?
Rules and regulation:
1. Max two participants per team.
2. Only those who are qualified in the preliminary round are eligible to participate in the final round.
3. Finals will be conducted on LCD projector. .
