Rider Mania 2015:
Got skills for racing? Get ready to prove it on the Dirt Track, when you compete with last year’s champions. Adrenaline rush guaranteed.

Dirt Track:
Dirt Track Training :
** Dirt Track Training is a fun and hands-on training session open to all Royal Enfield riders. These sessions will be conducted on 20th & 21st Nov 2015 at Royal Enfield Rider Mania. Riders will be trained for basic riding skills on Dirt by experienced coaches.
** Enrolment fee for this session is 500 INR.
** Registrations for the same will be open at the Venue on 20th November and as per the schedule published.

Some of the topics which will be covered in the one hour long Training sessions are:
** Safety Gear
** Lever controls
** Moving the motorcycle
** Start and stop
** Riding posture
** Gear Shifting
** Lower body control
** Cornering

Rules & Regulations:
The event will be held under the International Sporting Code of the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) for 2 wheelers and appendices of The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI).

Classes:
Class 1: Royal Enfield motorcycle – Upto 360cc – Group B
Class 2: Royal Enfield motorcycles – 360 cc to 550 cc – Group B
Class 3: Ladies Dirt Track Class – Upto 550 cc – Group B

Entry Procedure:
** Dirt Track Entry form. Available at the venue during Rider Mania or can be downloaded here.
** FMSCI Competition Form. Available at the venue during Rider Mania or can be downloaded here.
** Competition Licence fee of Rs 200/- would be charged per entry for the Dirt event.
** Four Passport Size Photographs to attach to the Entry form.
** These forms will need to be filled and submitted as hard copies on 20th November 2015 by 1700 Hours at the Rider Mania venue.

Pre-Event Scrutiny:
** Pre-event scrutiny is compulsory for all competing vehicles.
** After the pre-event scrutiny, competitors are not allowed to make alterations to the competing motorcycles which might affect the vehicles classification or safety without the written consent of the Clerk of the Course.
** On completion of scrutiny, competitors will be given a ‘Number Poncho’ which must be worn in a manner so as to be clearly visible for observation and must be displayed to the paddock marshal before practice, qualifying and race sessions.

Technical Specifications:
** Modifications according to Group B specifications of the FMSCI.
** Crash Guards and Mirrors have to be removed before the Scrutiny.
** Fuel Tank – Any Production Royal Enfield OEM Petrol Tank.

Tyres allowed at the Event:
Only the below mentioned tyres will be allowed in the Dirt Track Competition.
** Michelin Sirac.
** Ceat Tyres.
** Dunlop Unigrip.
** Dunlop Monster Trail.
** MRF Meteor.
** MRF Moto D.
** MRF Moto C.
** All Royal Enfield OEM Tires.
** Ralco Tyres.

Riding Gear Requirements:
** HELMETS ARE COMPULSORY. These should be Full Face, One piece, either of ISI or International Standards (DOT /Snell). These should be in a sound condition and fitted properly. However, the scrutiniser will decide on the race worthiness of any helmet.
** Calf length or ankle leather boots are compulsory.
** Wearing of shin guard and the knee caps are mandatory.
** Full length leather gloves/ gloves of durable material in sound condition are compulsory.
** Goggles / Spectacles if worn must be splinter proof and non-inflammatory.
** A riding gear of thick cord/denim is compulsory. Dress regulations should be strictly adhered to during practice, in paddocks and during the race. Violation entails EXCLUSION.
