Recon International is organising MCMI Mee Cinema Mee Ishtam Short Film Contest 2018.

Contest Details

Concept: Social Media – Influence On Youth
Duration : 10 to 20 Mins
Entry Fee : Rs.1000/-
Last Date of Submission : 10th January 2019
Venue : Ravindrabharathi, Hyderabad on 16th February 2019.
Video code: Best results they recommend using H.264,MP4.
Resolution: Common resolutions for High definition (HD) video is usually formatted at 720p (1280 × 720 px) or 1080p (1920 × 1080 px). 720 and above HD (16.9 aspect ratio) Quality video would be accepted. In case of below quality, will be rejected.
Audio: The AAC-LC codec, at 320 kbit/s and 48 kHz, is recommended.

Eligibility

The competition is only open to all age group.

How To Enter?

** To be eligible for the Competition, Entrants must complete the online entry form, Entrants must also upload a minimum of three (3) still images from their film by this time.
** We recommend completing your entry submission earlier, to allow for unforeseen issues that may arise.
** Each film may only be submitted once. Entrants may submit multiple entries, as long as each entry differs significantly from any others submitted by that entrant.
** Duration is 10 to 20 minutes should be in telugu language .
** Short film should be their own. They should sign NOC, Producer and director.
** Films exceeding this time limit are liable to be rejected.
** The minimum length should be 10 seconds including credits.
** The winner selection is on opinion poll of MCMI registered Users.
** There should not be any kind of sexual, child abuse, degradation of any community in the content of Short Films.
** The grand finale will be on Feb 16th 2019 , Venue at Ravindrabharathi,hyderabad. If rejected, money won’t be repaid.
** Rejection of Short Film will be sole discretion of Recon International, Hyderabad. They should remove from You tube.
** You tube likes not counted or not valid. After announcing of the winner, they can upload anywhere.
** Entrants should UPLOAD/SUBMIT their film to Recon International on the day that the entry form is completed.
** Please include your press kit including still photos. Please write a 10-15 word (ONLY) synopsis for use in our Contest programmer – should your film be selected. Please fill in all the credit information, especially for the areas in which we award prizes.
** Recon International will contact you (reconshortfilms@gmail.com) if there are any problems with your film.
** Once downloaded by us, your film will be loaded onto our MCMI app. Please do not send DVD’s or copies of your film direct to us unless requested to do so.
** At time of submission we will only accept your entry if your film is upload to Recon International server.
** Once we have received your Film, Photo(s), Fee and Form you will receive an email confirming your entry is ‘In Consideration’.
** Please note that unless we receive ALL these items your entry is NOT confirmed.

Prize Money

** 1st Winner-Rs. 5 Lakh
** 2nd Winner-Rs. 3 Lakh
** 3rd Winner-Rs. 2 Lakh

Contest Terms

** Entrants must submit their entries via the 2018 Recon Short Films entry system.
** Any entry form or supporting materials received via any other method shall be destroyed and will not be considered a valid submission.
** Entry fee is Rs.1000/- for each Short Film. Entry fee is non-refundable.
** All entries must follow the entry guidelines and entrants must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for their chosen category, as outlined on Jan 10th 2019 of the Entry System.

Right To Screen:
The participants grant the Organisers (Recon International) the non-exclusive rights to screen their film / entry on their respective websites, at the Contest and other associated screenings.

Copyright:
The Film must not contain any copyrighted work(s) belonging to third parties unless (1) Participants have a license to use such works in the Film; or (2) the use participants’ Film makes of such works is a fair one under the copyright laws. Participants will retain any licenses and provide them to organisers upon request.
