Decowood Design Diva Award

Identifying edgy and futuristic design, the Decowood Design Diva Award is a platform that identifies and celebrates new design concepts and innovation.

In its third season, Decowood’s Design Divas contest is back to celebrate young, quirky, eccentric designers with a vision for tomorrow. The last two seasons have rose to power some unconventional designers and rewarded them with a trip to Milan.

Eligibility

** This contest is open to all the female residents of India and to enter the contest the participant(s) shall be at least 18 years or above at the time of participation.
** This contest is applicable only for practicing female designers with at least 4 years of work experience. However for phase 2 only top 12 finalists of phase 1 are eligible to participate.

How To Participate?

Phase 1:
Participants submit 3D sketches or actual project images developed using Decowood Veneers based on the any of the mentioned categories. Digital catalogue of the products are available in the Download Section below. The jury will review all the entries and shortlist 100 best entries.

Phase 2:
The 12 designers handpicked out of the 100 shortlisted from Phase 1 will have an option to choose from two themes to design for the final prize for Phase 3

Phase 3:
Jury will select the Top 3 designers out of 12 shortlisted designers from phase 2 and will be declared as winners of Decowood Design Divas – Season 3.

Prizes

** 100 shortlisted entries will get an exclusive memento from Decowood Veneers.
** 12 of them will receive gift vouchers of Rs. 25,000 each and get featured in a design-oriented table calendar each month profiling one of the designers and a feature in AD print & digital.

3 Final Winners Will Get:
** An all sponsored trip to Bernwood Forest, South Oxfordshire.
** Showcase of creation & felicitation at the AD 100 Awards show held in March 2019.
** A chance to meet and greet with iconic designers of the country and a feature in AD print & digital.

Winners

The participants will be emailed and informed about the winners in February 2019 and the same will be displayed on www.designdivas.in.

Terms & Conditions

** All entries should be original creations or ready completed projects that include Decowood Veneers (mandatory).
** Copies or direct inspirations will be disqualified.
** All entries will be assessed on their finish, creativity, originality, technical superiority and innovative use of space.
** Each participant can submit a total of two entries, maximum one per sub-category.
** Only entries submitted on the www.architecturaldigest.in/microsite/design-divas/ will be accepted, with the correctly filled details as requested.
** No entries will be accepted physically or over email or through any other social media website.
** Failure to provide all mandatory details will result in automatic disqualification.
** Last date of submission is 15th December 2018.
** Entries once submitted cannot be cancelled or withdrawn.
** The decisions made by the jury will be final and binding in all manners. No appeals shall be entertained for any reasons whatsoever.
** Only high quality renders will be accepted.
** There is no cash alternative to the prize.
