Gandhi Quiz

The Gandhi Quiz is being organized by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Quiz Period

The quiz shall open on October 02, 2018 at 12:00 Noon (IST) and will close at 17:00 hrs (IST) on 30th January 2019. Entries received outside of these time/dates will not be valid.

Eligibility

Entry into the Gandhi Quiz is open to all entrants who are resident of India or are of Indian origin.

How To Enter?

** Register & Start your quiz https://auth.mygov.in/user/login
** Once submitted an entry cannot be withdrawn.
** One entrant can participate only once. Multiple entries from the same entrant will not be considered and will be discarded.
** Total number of questions each participant has to attempt will be 10 in numbers.

Instructions

** This is a timed quiz with 10 questions to be answered in 100 seconds
** These questions will be randomly picked from the question bank.
** Winners will be adjudged on the basis of maximum number of correct answers.
** In case of multiple participants having given same number of correct answers, the participants who take the least time to complete the quiz will be adjudged the winner.
** You can skip a tough question and come back to it later.
** The quiz will start as soon as you click the ‘Start Quiz’ button.

Prizes

** Overall first winner of first position : Rs 21000.00 and Gandhi Literature
** The individual coming second will get Rs 15000.00 and Gandhian Literature
** The individual coming third will get Rs 11000.00 and Gandhian Literature.
** Also winners will be declared every week. The weekly winners will be given Gandhian Literature. (only those who get the first position every week.)

Contest Terms

** You will be required to provide your name, email address, telephone number and postal address.
** By submitting your contact details you will give consent to these details being used for the purposes of the
** Prizes will be given for both Hindi and English quiz. However, a person can be given prize for only one Quiz either for Hindi or English.
** Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable
** Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.
** Each participant will be given a time of 100 seconds to complete the quiz. Every week one winner will be declared.
** The weekly winners of the Quiz will be announced on every Saturday after 20:00 hrs.
** Each of the winners will be notified through telephone and or the email address that they provided along with their submission, within seven days of the result announcement.
** If a winner is not contactable within three working days from the result announcement, he or she will forfeit the prize and another winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the above process until a winner is selected and can be contacted.
** In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the Quiz at any time.
** For the avoidance of doubt this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions.
** The Participant shall abide by all the rules and regulations of participating in the Quiz from time to time.
** Organisers’ decision on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.
** These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Indian Judiciar.
