IDRBT Banking Technology Innovation Contest

The Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) is a premier Institution focused exclusively on Banking Technology. Established by Reserve Bank of India, the Institute works at the intersection of Banking and Technology, focusing on research and development, which is useful for the Indian Banking and Financial Sector.

Participation is being asked from individuals, banks, industries and academia to submit innovative ideas and solutions for the contest. The scope of the submission covers the entire technology gamut which has direct influence in banking and financial services.

Registration

Teams have to register on or before January 15, 2019. The Registration Fee is Rs. 2000/- per team. Pay the registration fee using NEFT. Please save the bank transfer receipt for future reference.

Format of the Contest

Participating teams are required to submit a write-up on their proposed innovation highlighting the underlying technology, novelty, and its impact in the banking sector by January 15, 2019 to ibtic@idrbt.ac.in.

A few teams will be shortlisted based on the applicability and quality of their submission. The shortlisted teams will be asked to present their innovations in front of an elite panel consisting of Senior Bankers, IT Professionals and Academicians.

Participating students, if any from shortlisted teams, will be reimbursed Third AC (subject to submission of a valid identity card from the educational institution] to and fro rail fare by the shortest route to attend the event.

The Subject of the mail should carry “Submission to IBTIC 2019”. The body of the email should contain the payment details (NEFT reference number and date of transaction). Also, please attach the NEFT receipt along with the email.
