Star Jalsha Happy Weekend Contest

Happy Weekend contest is hosted by Star India for the purpose of promotion and viewer engagement of its channel ‘ Star Jalsha ’.

The Contest will be conducted on the Channel and through an email id happyweekend@startv.com

Eligibility

The Contest is open only to persons who are the citizens of India and shall be of 18 years of age and above.

Contest Period

The Contest shall start on 9th March at 8:30 PM IST and end on 1st April at 12:00 PM

How To Participate?

To participate in the Contest, all persons interested in participating and /or Participants shall be mandatorily required to do the following during the Period and /or Weekly Period:

Address an email to the Platform using his/her email id or in any other manner or form as may be prescribed /requested on the respective Platform and /or Website . For the purpose of participating in this Contest, it is mandatory that the interested Participant (s) mandatorily have a valid email id and must be residing in India during the Period of the Contest.

Thereafter the Participant (s) shall be mandatorily required to click a photo of himself or herself alone and /or with their respective family members with a television system featuring in the background and playing any of the 3 (three) Channel programs, Ebar Jombe Moja, Thakhumar Jhuli and Banglar Jalsha_ in high resolution in jpeg format.

Thereinafter the Participant (s) shall be required to compose and send an email from his / her respective email id addressed to the Platform wherein the Picture is attached and /or uploaded along with (i)the Personal Information of the Participant, and (ii) an open ended message addressing a special message for the Channel.

The Answer and the Picture shall hereinafter be collectively referred to as the “Post”. . For avoidance of doubt it is clarified that for the purpose of participating in the Contest and to be eligible for the Gratification , it is mandatory each and every Post (should mention and include the valid email id , Personal Information and the Picture as mentioned herein.

Winner Selection

During the Contest Period, at the end of the respective Weekly Period on the basis of the Participant having made a valid Entry and his/her sending via email the valid Entry and on the basis of the quality of the Picture and the emotional quotient of the Answer submitted during the respective corresponding Weekly Period, every Participant shall be shortlisted by Star India at its sole discretion and subsequently out of these shortlisted Participant(s)

STAR India shall by way of random selection at its discretion, from the aforementioned shortlisted Participant(s )select and declare 10 (ten) winners on a weekly basis for the corresponding Weekly Period.

These Winners shall be announced and declared by Star India on the Channels during the telecast of the Channel Programs a weekly basis during the Contest Period , on every subsequent Saturday and Sunday, of the corresponding Weekly Period during which the Contest was triggered. The total number of Winners declared during the Contest Period shall not exceed 40.
