The CREST English Olympiad (CEO) is an international competitive exam held online for students in classes Prep/KG and 1-10.

How to Participate?

Registration of Students through schools :
Prospectus containing the registration forms are sent to all schools registered with CREST Olympiads.

If your school is not registered with us, then please send an email to info [AT] crestolympiads.com and we will send you the prospectus soon. It is mandatory for schools to return the registration forms to CREST Olympiads, duly filled in and complete in all respects by the due date.

For individual participants :
If your school does not conduct Olympiads, then you can register as an individual participant as well.

Exam Fee

** For classes 1-10, the exam fee for each subject is Rs. 225 for students studying and enrolling from India. For students studying and residing outside of India, the fee is $10 (US Dollars).

** For students of class Prep/KG, the exam fee for each subject is Rs. 180 for students studying and enrolling from India. For students studying and residing outside of India, the fee is $8 (US Dollars).

** Practice 2 (Answer Key Dates) – 6th Oct 2020 (8th-9th Oct 2020)

** Level 2 Exam (Answer Key Dates) – 16th Jan 2021 (20th-21st Jan 2021)

CEO Levels

For students of classes Prep/KG and 1-2, there will be only one level. There will be 2 levels for students of classes 3-10. The exam is an objective-type test that the students need to complete in 60 minutes. For students of class Prep/KG, the time of the exam will be 45 minutes.

The exam consists of two sections
Section-1 : Practical Mathematics
Section-2 : Achievers Section

Important Information :
** There are separate question papers for each and every class.
** The medium of the exam is English.
** CBSE, ICSE/ISC and other State Board syllabus is followed for the setting of test papers.

** The exam is conducted online only using laptop, desktop or tablet with an Internet connection. It can’t be taken using a mobile device.

** For students of class Prep/KG, the parent/teacher can assist the child in guiding through the questions.
** In case the registration is not through school, the student will have to take exam from home.

Awards

For students of classes 1-2 appearing in CEO, CSO and CMO exams, the awards and recognition is as follows :
** Top 15% students will be awarded with a merit certificate
** Top 5% students will be awarded with a medal and a merit certificate

** Top 3 students (registered through school) from every school with more than 25 students in a class appearing for an Olympiad exam will be awarded with a merit certificate

** Overall Top 3 students from classes 1-10 will be awarded with Achiever’s Trophy and Merit certificate
** Every participant will be awarded a digital participation certificate. This will be available in the dashboard of the participant.
** If a student meets 2 or more criteria then he/she will qualify for a higher award

For students of Prep/KG appearing in CEO, CSO and CMO exams :
** As these exams are parent/teacher assisted, there would be no ranks given to the students. Although, the students who achieve more than 60% in the exam(s), will be awarded a Merit Certificate and Medal.

For students of classes 3-10 appearing for CEO, CSO and CMO exams :
** All students qualifying for Level 2 will be awarded with a merit certificate
** Top 40% students in Level 2 will be awarded with a medal and a merit certificate

** Overall Top 3 students from classes 1-10 for CREST Olympiads and from classes 1-8 for CREST Spell Bee will be awarded with Achiever’s Trophy and Merit certificate

** Every participant will be awarded a digital participation certificate. This will be available in the dashboard of the participant.
** If a student meets 2 or more criteria then he/she will qualify for a higher award
