National Creativity Olympiad

NCO is designed to assess a child’s creative abilities and his/her achievement motivation.

Who Can Participate?

The NCO is open for students of standard 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th.

How to Participate?

Just follow the below steps to apply for NCO 2020.

Steps :
Step 1 : One teacher should be NCO coordinator; She/He should disseminate information about NCO in Students and encourage them for participating in NCO. If you need registration cum information form for distribution to Students/Parents, kindly contact us.

Step 2 : Please send single consolidated Demand Draft for the exam fee of all the students appearing for NCO from your School after retaining the school share.

Step 3 : Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of “Creative Olympiad” payable at New Delhi. DD should reach us on or before 25th Aug, 2020.

Step 4 : Schools are requested to encourage the students to participate more. Any school to qualify as a center for exam will require at least 100 enrollments from school across all standards.

Examination Fee

Students can enroll for the NCO by paying Rs. 200 to their respective teacher coordinators. Student can also purchase NCO Practice Book for Rs. 50.

The School is requested to retain Rs. 30 per child enrolled towards its expenses which includes bank charges, postal charges, and honorarium for the Teachers in-charge etc.

General Guidelines

** The medium of the objective test will be English.
** The School Level Exam will be an OMR based offline test conducted during school hours between 08:50 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

** The National Level Exam will be an online test conducted at School.
** School needs to provide information about the participating student as per the student information form.
** Each school shall be provided a unique regsitration code after the registration.

Important Dates

** Last Date of Registration – 20 Aug, 2020
** Date of School Level Exam (Offline, at School*)
Date-1: 25 Sep, 2020
Date-2: 07 Oct, 2020

** Result of School Level Exam – 14 Nov, 2020
** Date of National Level Exam (Online, at School*) – 07 Dec to 12 Dec, 2020
** Declaration of Winners – 19 Dec, 2020

*School may pick any of the two dates for School Level Exam.
*School may pick any date from 7th to 12th Dec, 2020 for National Level Exam.

NCO Awards

Students :

SLE Grade Toppers (Top three) in each school will be awarded Medals.

** SLE Grade Topper Medals are awarded, if minimum 20 students participate from a grade.
** SLE Grade Toppers must secure 75 percentile or above to qualify for Medals.

All students securing more than 75 percentile in the SLE test will get “Certificate of Excellence”. All others will get a “Certificate of Participation”.

Schools :
Creative School Award will be given to one of the participating Schools on the basis of maximum number of Students in the top 10 percentile from the School. Cash Prize of Rs. 25000/- will be given to the winning school.

    I have achieved all India rank 12 in NCO Round 2. Will I obtain a prize of Rs. 1000 as per mentioned for next 15 rank holders. I am from 10th Standard.
