MyGov Water Heroes Share Your Stories Contest

The “Water Heroes – Share Your Stories” Contest is being launched by Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation;

Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India with the objective of promoting value of water in general and for supporting country-wide efforts on water conservation and sustainable development of water resources.

How to Participate?

** The participant will have to post their Success Stories in the field of water conservation which will comprise of a Write-up (upto 300 words), Pictures and a video of one to five minutes duration depicting their efforts/ significant contributions/ best practices used in different parts of the country in field of water conservation, water utilization or water resources development and management.

** The participants will share their Stories, pictures along with the link of their Youtube Video on the MyGov portal. In addition to MyGov Portal, the entries may also be submitted to waterheroes.cgwb [AT] gmail.com

1. Please upload your film on your youtube channel.
2. In the comment section, copy paste your film youtube link here. (do not upload the film here )

Prize

All selected entries will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- each. The Contest shall run for duration of 10 months. Each month, a maximum of 10 entries shall be selected for the cash prize.

Terms & Conditions

** The submission of entry is free and no qualifications are prescribed.
** The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.

** One entrant can participate only once. Multiple entries from the same entrant shall not be considered and will be discarded.

** Each of the winners will be notified through email address that they provided along with their submission. The MyGov portal shall also display the names of winners.

** The prize money shall be transferred through RTGS/NEFT.
** The Government of India, if it so decides, reserves the right not to proceed with the competition at any stage.

** Taxes are the sole responsibility of the teams receiving prizes. Prizes may be subject to tax reporting and other purposes. Participants agree to supply with any necessary information to affect the same and to fully cooperate in fulfilling all applicable legal requirements.

** The Ministry reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of this Contest and/ or Terms and Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria.

** The participant should make sure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since the Ministry would be using this for further communication. This includes details such as name, photo, complete postal address, email ID and phone number. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered.

** All Government employees participating in this competition should have prior permission from their employer to participate in this competition.

** The responsibility to comply with the guidelines and other conditions fully lies with the participant(s) and the Government of India shall not be answerable to any dispute raised by a third party.

** The decision of the Ministry in this regard shall be final and shall not be called upon to question under any circumstances.
