ISRO ICC Competition

ISRO plans to play its unifying role for the young minds of our country by involving them in various online competitions showcasing their potential talents by organising online ISRO Cyberspace Competitions–2020 (ICC–2020).

ICC–2020 would avoid the physical travel of the students to different places and facilitates their participation online keeping them safe within their home during these testing times.

The competitions planned in ICC–2020 are:
1. Drawing competition for Class 1 to 3,
2. Model making competition for Class 4 to 8,
3. Essay competition for class 9 to 10 (both Hindi and English),
4. Essay competition / Space-Quiz contest for class 11 to 12 (both Hindi and English).

During the present scenario, when all the outreach programmes related to space science and technology are apparently on halt, this cyberspace based competition will be a frontrunner in motivating the student community to explore the concepts and boundless mysteries in the space science and technology domain.

With increase in digital penetration of the Indian mass, the participation in this competition will be in-line towards the philosophy of ‘Digital India’ and aims to tap the creativity, inquisitiveness, innovativeness harnessing the unbound imagination of school students towards Space Science and Technology.

How To Register?

Instructions

** You can participate in Quiz competition by logging in at ISRO Web Portal.
** There will be total 30 questions, out of which first 10 questions will be of simple level, thereafter 10 questions will be of moderate level and last 10 questions will be of difficult level.
** Maximum time limit for answering thirty questions is 20 minutes.
** Once a question is skipped, the same will not be available for attempting it later during the quiz session.
** Simple Level: For one correct answer (R) of an simple question, positive marks of +3 will be awarded, and negative mark of -1 will be awarded for wrong answer (W).
** The following formulae shall be applied: Marks obtained = 3R – W
** Difficult Level: For a difficult level question, positive marks of +9 will be awarded for correct answer (R) and negative mark of -3 will be awarded for wrong answer (W).
** The following formulae shall be applied: Marks obtained = 9R – 3W
** Therefore, the participant is expected to read the questions carefully and then answer the questions after going through all the options.
** Once an answer is submitted, it cannot be changed. If you leave a question without answering it, zero mark will be awarded for same.
** Once you login for taking up the quiz competition on ISRO Web Portal, you have to finish answering all the questions in a single session.
** You can take the mock quiz competition test on August 27, 2020 by logging in at ISRO Web Portal.
** Before appearing in this competition, kindly ensure full charging of the battery of your laptop, moblile, computer etc. and uninterrupted availability of the internet from your Internet Service Provider.
** For such reasons, participant shall be solely responsible for the non-completion of Quiz competition.
