Step 3 : Fill the registration form with the following details.

Terms & Conditions

** Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses. Entries should be submitted by the Closing Date (2nd December 2020) and in the manner set out in these conditions. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

** Photos submitted must be clear. Images should be no larger than 2MB. Photos must be in JPEG/ PDF format. Entries should be submitted in a HIGH RESOLUTION format.

** There is no limit to the number of entries per person and more submissions do not necessarily translate into higher chances of winning.

** There is no entry fee for the contest. Hindu Tamil Thisai is not liable for any fee collected towards the contest from any third-party organization or individual

** The decision for the winners rests solely on the Hindu Tamil/an independent adjudicator or panel of judges appointed by the Hindu Tamil Thisai.
** The Hindu Tamil /judges reserve the right to disqualify any entry based on the violation of any rules or unacceptable image quality

** The contest results shall be announced in our newspaper and it is the contestant’s responsibility to stay updated with the contest
** The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material.

** The prizes are non-transferable and subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving prior notice

** The promoter’s decision in respect to all matters to do with the contests will be final and no correspondence will be entertained.
** The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate contest or prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with the contests.

** The T&C shall be governed as per Indian Laws and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai.

Karthika Deepam, Thrikarthika or Karthikai Vilakkidu is a festival of lights that is observed by Hindus of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka. It falls in the month of Karttikai (mid-November to mid-December) as per Tamil calendar.

The full moon day of this Karthigai month is called Karthigai pournami. In Kerala, this festival is known as Thrikkarthika, celebrate to welcome Goddess Karthiyayeni (Chottanikkara Amma)Bhagavathi. In the rest of India, a related festival called Kartik Purnima is celebrated in a different date.
