Any regular student of FYBSc, SYBSc and TYBSc with Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Zoology / Botany / Life Science as one of his/her principle or subsidiary subject is eligible for this contest.

** Time of Exam – 11.00 AM to 12.00 PM
** Fees – Rs. 75/- per Participant

Step 2 : Pay Rs. 75/- Fees Online and take a screenshot after successful payment.
Step 3 : After successful payment, fill the following registration form only once.

Instructions

Read these instructions before registration
** This is an online quiz competition.
** Registration and fees payment should be done online only. Links are available at the bottom of this page.

** Fees is non-refundable.
** In the online quiz, there will be 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
** There is no negative marking for wrong answers but it will be considered for tie-breaking.

** Syllabus for the contest is displayed on this page. Syllabus is separate for first year, second year and third year Students.
** There will be separate online exam for first, second and third/final year students.

Requirement

You must have these things to take online quiz of MicrbiOlympiad
** An internet-enabled mobile or smartphone.
** An email of Gmail. For example abc [AT] gmail.com. Make sure that you know the password of your Gmail email.
** Install Google Chrome if it is not in the mobile.

Prizes

** First Prize – Rs. 2,100 /-
** Second Prize – Rs. 1,100 /-
** Third Prize – Rs. 500 /-

** In addition to cash prizes, winners will get Trophies, Certificates, Medals, sponsored gifts (if any), sponsored free entry passes to educational events and training programs (if any)
** Certificate of participation will be given to all participants

FAQs

1. How the exam for MicrobioLogical Contest is held?
The exam is held online. Registered participants appear for the exam at their respective department/college. The exam can be given through internet-enabled computer or mobile. Owing to pandemic condition this, the exma could be conducted online through our mobile app or website.

2. When the competition will be held?
MicrobioLogical Contest and MicrobiOlympiad are held every year in the month of January/February. MicrobiOlympiad is held generally 10-15 days after initial screening test – MicrobioLogical Contest. You may view the actual date on their respective web pages.

3. My internet did not work during examination.
There is no way to re-take the exam. As we have given all the instructions regarding internet availability, we can’t offer any refund in this case.

4. How the MicrobiOlympiad will be held?
MicrobiOlympiad will be held at a pre-decided place with face-to-face quiz competition. There will be several rounds including MCQs, image and video based questions, Reasoning questions, fast-finger questions, etc. The pattern however may change without any notification. Winners are announced and awarded on the same day.

Please note that this year if the conditions are not favorable, the MicrobiOlympiad final phase will be conducted online through live meeting.
