Colors Tamil Sillunu Oru Kadhal Gold Coin Contest

Sillunu Oru Kadhal Gold Coin Contest which will be part of promotional activity conducted by “Colors Tamil” in India hosted by Viacom18 Media Private Limited.

The contest invites interested persons to participate in the Contest by answering the questions being displayed on the Channel pertaining to the program Sillunu Oru Kadhal airing on the Channel between 21:30 hours to 22:00 hours (IST)

Contest Period

The Contest shall be held on days from Monday to Saturday for a period commencing from 28th Decmber 2020 to 17th February, 2021

Who Can Participate?

a) Participant(s) must be citizens of India and of eighteen (18) years of age or above. The Participant(s) should not have criminal conviction or an arrangement or a contract that prevents the Participant(s) from participating in the Contest.

b) Employees of and/or consultants of and/or persons hired on contract by Viacom18 and the members of their immediate family are ineligible from participating in the Contest.

How to Participate?

** To participate in the Contest, the Participants must watch the programs telecast on the Channel during the Contest Window. The question displayed shall have 4 options out of which one of the options would be the right answer to that question.

The Participant must select one option from amongst the 4 options given and submit the answer as per the Answering Mechanism mentioned hereinbelow.

** A Participant can send their answers of the questions asked through the Answering Mechanism (as defined below) till 23:59 hours IST on the same day when the questions have been aired.

** Any answer that sent outside of the Answering Window shall not be considered and shall be deemed null and void.

Answering Mechanism

Viewers interested in participating in the Contest may do so by sending their answers within the Answering Window through WhatsApp application on their mobile phones

Participants can send in the answer to question by selecting an option associated with a question and by sending message through WhatsApp to the number ‘6380661339’ in the format prescribed below

Note :
Each Participant needs to use a valid phone number, registered either with the network operators viz. Aircel, Airtel, Idea, Reliance Jio, Tata, Vodafone;

Selection of Winner(s)

** Out of all the eligible Entries received within the Answering Window for a particular day the Channel shall select the 5 Participants everyday who gives correct answer to the question as “Shortlisted Participant” through random selection method during the Contest Period.

** The Shortlisted Participant(s) will be contacted via call to provide their name, age, email id and phone number to within a reasonable time after being declared as the Shortlisted Participant.

Upon receiving the call, such Shortlisted Participant(s) would then be asked to send their Contact Details via email or any other medium as agreed by Viacom18 within 72 hours of such message without which they will not be entitled to the Prize.

** Upon receipt of the Contact Details, Viacom18 shall contact the Shortlisted Participant(s) via email to submit scanned copies of their identity proof, age proof and address proof (eg picture of passport/electricity bill/any other valid ID for verification) (“Document”) within 72 hours of such email

** The communication to the Winner(s) would be done within thirty (30) days from the end of the Contest Period.

** Announcement of Winners shall be within a reasonable time after the end of the Contest Period and such Winners shall be eligible for gratification as detailed below.

Gratification Details

a) Winner(s) as may be declared by the Channel shall stand a chance to win a Gold Coin worth Rupees 3000 (Three thousand only). The Winner shall receive the prize by means of courier to the address as provided by the Winners.

b) Channel takes no responsibility, or liability on non-receival of Prize due to incorrect addresses, no availability of the person during courier delivery and / or any other reasons.
