‘IPL Election se Selection 4.0 Contest’ 2021 being conducted by Star India Private Limited for promotion of the Indian Premier League, 2021

The Contest is a game of knowledge and skill, whereby the Participants need to correctly vote for the IPL team(s) which will pick the cricket players featured on the Platform, pursuant to the IPL player auction scheduled to take place on February 18, 2021.

The Participants, based on their knowledge, team budgets and the roster available, are required to vote for the IPL team(s) in which the featured cricket player(s) is/are most likely to be selected pursuant to the IPL Player Auction.

Contest Period

The Contest will be conducted from 3rd February, 2021 upto 11:59 pm on 17th February , 2021, or such other date/time as may be decided by STAR

Who Can Participate?

a. All the Participants must be citizens of India present and residing in India during the Contest Period, must be of sound mind and must be at least 18 years of age as on the date of participating in the Contest.

b. Each Participant is required to visit the Platform and answer the Contest Question during the Contest Period.

c. The Participants should submit their entry containing their answers to the Contest Question on the Platform during the Contest Period only

How To Participate?

a. On the Platform, a select list of 15 IPL players (“Featured Players”) shall be made available, who will be participating in the IPL Player Auction for being chosen by an IPL team for the upcoming edition of the Tournament; and

b. For each Featured Player, the Participants are required to determine and vote for the IPL team which they believe will select /pick the relevant Featured Player pursuant to the IPL Player Auction.

However, the Participants may choose the number of Featured Players for whom they wish to vote for, i.e., it is not mandatory for Participants to vote for all of the 15 Featured Players appearing on the Platform;

c. While making the picks for a particular IPL team, the participant can either
(i) slide left on a player image to skip a player; or
(ii) slide right on the player image to add a player to the specific team.

d. Once the participant has selected a player for a particular team, such a player cannot be picked for another team as well.

f. All the Participants who :
(i) vote accurately for at least 1 (one) or more of the Featured Players, i.e., they correctly choose the IPL team in which such Featured Player(s) is ultimately selected pursuant to the IPL Player Auction; and

(ii) post submission of their Entry, voluntarily agree to share with STAR their personal details such as name, contact details, email address etc (as indicated on the Platform), shall be put into a pool of shortlisted /potential winners

Prizes

Each of the 30 Winners would be awarded with an exclusive Cricket Celebration Kit which shall contain a jersey/bat signed by experts, an exclusive Election Se Selection winner jersey, a cricket ball table clock, a Select Dugout cap, and Zing bails, or other contents in Star’s discretion.

Winners Selection

** 30 lucky winners shall be selected via randomizer from amongst the Pool by an independent third party engaged by STAR for this purpose.

** The Winners shall be selected on the basis of the relevance and correctness of their Entries or other criteria as such independent third party and/or STAR shall deem fit.

** In case of a tie, STAR’s decision in this regard and for all other matters relating to the Contest shall be final and binding upon the Participant(s).
