Indian Talent Olympiad NSSO

National Social Studies Olympiad (NSSO) is an exam that tests students’ knowledge on subjects such as History, Geography and Civics. It is conducted by Indian Talent Olympiad at National Level once in a year.

The exam is conducted within school premises. The syllabus for NSSO is according to the respective classes & includes the base of all the boards. Students from different boards namely, State board, CBSE, ICSE, and International boards can take part in Social Studies exam.

How To Participate?

** National Social Studies Olympiad (NSSO) exams are open to students from Class 1 to Class 10.
** The registration process happens online and offline. It is easy to enroll and participate in this exam.

** Teachers encourage maximum participation, as Olympiad exams make students confident and ready for national-level competition.
** It is a platform where students can judge their existing knowledge and improve their academic performance.

** Indian talent Olympiad rewards deserving students with prizes and awards topping in Social Studies exam.

Exam Pattern

It is very important to know the exam pattern before appearing for the actual exam. The pattern for the exam will remain the same for all the subjects excluding Drawing and Essay. Overall Question Paper Patterns include problem-based figures, series completion, odd one out, coding-decoding, mirror images, embedded figures, symmetry, and alphabetical test questions.

The complexity of the question paper varies according to the class. For each class, questions are prepared by understanding their knowledge, ability, and reasoning capacity.

Exam Date

Olympiad exam dates are different for online and offline examinations. Students participating individually need to follow the online exam dates of slot-1 and slot-2. School which are taking offline exam can follow the dates accordingly.

A) Annual Olympiad Exam Schedule – Individual Student Registration
Round 1 : Annual Olympiad Exam is conducted in 2 slots for Round 1. Students can select the slot of their choice. Once the slot is selected it can not be changed.

Round 2 : Round 2 will be conducted only for Science, Maths, English, and General Knowledge.

** Slot 2 Of Round 2 – 17th Jan 22

(B) Annual Olympiad Exam Schedule : School Registration
Round 1: Annual Olympiad Exam is conducted in respective schools. Students need to appear to the exams as per the schedule mentioned below.

Students who qualify in the first Round need to appear for the Second round exam. This Schedule of the exam will be shared with the School along with the Round 1 Result.
