Tea Board ‘My India Tea Star’ Contest

Tea Board India presents ‘My India Tea Star’ contest where you can share a selfie, groupfie, video or picture of your tea star, the one who makes your special cup of tea that never fails to lift your spirits.

Who Can Participate?

It could be anyone – it could be your mother, a sibling, your house help etc.. Participate and get a chance to win big!

Contest Period

The contest will be on till 21st May, International Tea Day. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be accepted.

How to Participate?

** Post the selfie/video/groupfie/picture on your Facebook wall/Twitter timeline and tag @TeaBoardIndia, use #MyIndiaTeaStar #InternationalTeaDay #TeaDay #IndiaTea #IndiaTeaAndMe #IndianTeaLove.

Give us a caption on your pic/video/selfie/groupfie. Make sure that the Privacy Setting for the post is “Public”.

** This video/selfie/groupfie/picture can be taken anywhere inside your house, balcony or terrace, with family, while working from home etc.

It can show your tea star making tea, you and or your family having tea with your tea star or simply having a great conversation over tea with your tea star.

** Please take care to ensure that the selfie, groupfie, video or picture should only be shot indoors i.e. inside your house, balcony or terrace etc while maintaining all the protocols for precaution against COVID. Any pic/video/selfie/groupfie shot outdoors will be disqualified.

Prizes

** Three best entries will win cash prizes from Tea Board India
i. First Prize – Rs. 25,000/-,
ii. Second Prize – Rs. 20,000/-,
iii. Third Prize – Rs. 15,000/- and the money will be sent through bank transfer.

** The final declaration of the winners will be done only after our panel of judges evaluates the original high resolution versions of the photographs/videos sent by the winners.

Terms & Conditions

** A particular contestant may send in a maximum of 5 (five) entries only.

** The selfie/video/groupfie/picture should be an original one, shot by the contestant i.e. it should not be plagiarized, copied or downloaded from anywhere.

** Tea Board India’s decisions regarding this contest will be final and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained. Tea Board India reserves the right to the final and ultimate interpretation of this contest.

** The First, Second and Third Prize Winners will give the rights to use whole or part or edited versions of these photographs/videos to Tea Board India for use in their creatives/advertisements or for their promotional use, as deemed fit by Tea Board India.

** The First, Second and Third Prize Winners should share the high resolution versions of the videos/photographs with Tea Board India.

** If contestants are discovered to be using or having used improper means to participate in this contest, Tea Board India reserves the right to cancel the eligibility without notice.

** This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Media Platforms.

** Winners must share a photocopy of their Aadhaar Card/Driving license/Pan Card/Voter ID card/Passport. The cash prizes will be awarded to the Winners only on receipt of any one of the above documents.

** Tea Board India or its employees shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or any injury that may be sustained by the contestants or by any person in connection with the Contest.
