Article Writing Contest December 2015 :

The theme for the month is “Marketing” in association with MAXIM, Marketing Association of XIMB.

In order to participate, you need to register as a user on ideasmakemarket.com. Registration is simple and can be done through social login or member registration form

Topics :

The topics for the competition are as follows, interested participants may send their entries in any one or more topics :
** Is Marketing becoming de rigueur
** Stealth Marketing – Beware we are watching you.
** Is traditional marketing still alive
** Future of Marketing – Marketing and Leveraging Big Data
** Marketing 2020 – The shift from ‘acquisition’ to ‘retention’

Rules & Regulations :

** Enter online and submit your entry on IMM website and send the doc version to admin@ideasmakemarket.com. Kindly mail a brief bio of 2-3 lines along with the article. If you are entering more than one article, you may mail all entries in the same mail.
** Your entry must be original, in English, unpublished and unproduced, not accepted by any other publisher or producer at the time of submission.
** Any piece posted online, including a personal blog, is considered published.
** External sources of information to be clearly mentioned in the article.
** Articles will be checked for plagiarism and if found guilty, IMM reserves the right to pull down the article from the website.
** Your name, college name and competition month & year must appear in the upper left-hand corner of the first page of the doc
** BE SURE OF YOUR WORD COUNT. Entries exceeding the word or page limits will be disqualified. Type the exact word count (counting every single word, except the title and contact information) at the top of the manuscript.
** In the Email Subject line please mention the following: “Your Institute Name_Your Name _ Article Title”
** Article to be sent in .doc/.docx format font 11, Arial. Word limit – 1500 words. Kindly do not include any fancy formatting.
** The Last Date to submit your entries is till 25th of December.
** Not more than two people can author an article; although multiple entries are allowed.

Evaluation :

Evaluation of the article will be based on the following points:
** Content – 20%
** Originality – 20%
** Quality of research – 30%
** Relevance to the theme & presentation – 20%

Prizes :

** First placewill receive Rs. 1500 in cash/ Flipkart gift voucher and an e-certificate.
** Most innovative article will receive Rs. 500 in cash / Flipkart voucher and an e-certificate
** Top 5 Honourable Mentions receive : E-certificate of appreciation
