MyGov PMFBY Quiz

Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) proposes to conduct a ‘PMFBY Quiz’ competition through MyGov from 21st June to 21st August 2021 with an aim to create an awareness amongst citizens about the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), launched on 18 February 2016 by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi.

Introduction

PMFBY is an insurance service for farmers for their yields and aims to provide a comprehensive insurance cover against failure of the crop thus helping in stabilizing the income of the farmers.

PMFBY covers all Food & Oilseeds crops and Annual Commercial/Horticultural Crops. To know more about this scheme, participate in the quiz.

Objective

To create a platform for Citizens and family members of PMFBY beneficiaries where they can explore, learn and are well informed about the scheme through a quiz competition.

Topic & Brief

** The quiz will be in bilingual format i.e. English and Hindi
** Participant may read material available on the website i.e. https://pmfby.gov.in/ wherein schemes, initiatives, updates and activities are available

** After thoroughly understanding PMFBY scheme, participants may take part in the quiz competition.
** Participants can view their score after the last date of the quiz

Eligibility

Any Citizen, PMFBY beneficiary OR his/her family member may participate.

How To Participate?

Any individual who desires to participate in the quiz will be required to provide his/her name, date of birth, correspondence address, email address and mobile number.

By submitting your contact details, you will give consent to these details being used solely for the purpose of the Quiz.

Step-3 : Take the Quiz.

Instructions

** This is a timed quiz with 20 questions to be answered in 1200 seconds
** These questions will be randomly picked from the question bank.
** Winners will be adjudged on the basis of maximum number of correct answers.

** In case of multiple participants having given same number of correct answers, the participants who take the least time to complete the quiz will be adjudged the winner.

** You can skip a tough question and come back to it later.
** The quiz will start as soon as you click the Start Quiz button.

Awards & Recognition

All participants shall be issued a certificate of participation. Top 3 winners will be rewarded with a Prize Money from MoA&FW.

** 1st Prize money – Rs. 11,000/-
** 2nd Prize money – Rs.5,000/- and
** 3rd Prize money – Rs 3,100/-

Terms & Conditions

** The quiz competition will be conducted for Citizens/ PMFBY beneficiaries or their family members through https://www.mygov.in/ from 21st June to 21st August 2021.

** The same mobile number and same Email ID cannot be used more than once for participation in the quiz
** Duration of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 15 questions can be answered

** An individual can participate only once in the quiz.
** A certificate of participation will be issued after contestant completes the quiz. Participants may view their scores after the quiz contest is completed.

** The criteria for selecting successful winners will be “Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Time and basis LOT”.
** There will be no negative marking for the incorrect answer

** Any individual who desires to participate in the quiz will be required to provide his/her name, date of birth, correspondence address, email address and mobile number.
