Star Pravah Me Honar Superstar Junior Audition

Please read the following Terms and Conditions before participating in the Auditions conducted by Star India Private Limited and/or the Production House

Digital Audition(s) Period

“Digital Audition(s) Period” shall mean the period commencing from September 26, 2021 and continues till November 4, 2021 for different levels of auditions or such other date fixed & announced by by the Company and/or Production House

On Ground Audition(s) Period

“On Ground Audition(s) Period” shall mean the period commencing from November 7, 2021 and continues till November 23, 2021 for different levels of auditions or such dates fixed & announced by the Company and/or Production House

Audition Centre(s)

“Audition Centre(s)” shall mean Mumbai and/or any locations in Maharashtra state where the Participant(s) need to make themselves available for further levels of auditions as per the selection procedure.

Eligibility Criteria

(a) Children who are between 5 (five) years and 14 (fourteen) years i.e. 5 (five) years or above and 14 (fourteen) years or below as on December 4,, 2021 or on such dates fixed & announced by the Company and/or Production House, at their sole discretion through the Website and/or any other medium, which is required to be checked by the Parent on behalf of the Participant(s) from time to time; and

(b) Children who are Indian citizens and resident of India, as per applicable laws and conversant in spoken Marathi; and
(c) Shall be able to sing Marathi & Hindi songs

(d) At least 1(one) Parent of the Participant must also be an Indian citizen who is resident in India as per applicable laws;

Procedure To Register

To register and to participate in the Digital Auditions, the Parents on behalf of the interested Contestant(s) shall

Step 1 : have to login to https://www.hotstar.com/in/channels/star-pravah at his/her sole discretion to register for the participation in the Auditions by submitting / furnishing his/her valid Indian Mobile Number.

Step 2 : Upon entering into the Website, a registration form shall be displayed in the Website and the same is required to be filled by the Parent on behalf of the Participant(s) who shall fill in all the relevant and necessary details as stated and enumerated therein and upon submitting Video(s) (as mentioned hereinafter) on Website.

Step 3 : It may be clarified that the Parent on behalf of the Participant(s) participating in the Digital Auditions may register on the Platform only once through a particular mobile phone number of the Parent.

Accordingly, the Personal Information required by the Company may only pertain to the Participant registering himself/herself and his/her Parent.

Step 4 : After making a valid Entry, the Parent of each Participant will be provided a unique registration code, which shall be noted down by the Parent of the Participant(s) and shall produce the same at all times while the Audition(s).

Video Upload Functionality

i. Once the Parent on behalf of the Participant(s) shares the Personal Information required, he/she shall record a minimum of one (1) video and/or maximum of two (2) videos of the Participant(s) performing any song of his/her choice, which may primarily be in Marathi or Hindi language; such video shall have a minimum duration of 60 (sixty) seconds each and maximum duration of 120 (one hundred and twenty) seconds each [referred to as “Video(s)”]

ii. Once the recording of Participant’s performance is completed, the Parent on behalf of the Participant shall upload the Video(s) on the Website by following the instructions and as per the terms specified on such Platform and click on “Submit” button.

Once the Video(s) are uploaded on the Platform, the Parent will receive an SMS from the Company and/or Production House, at its discretion confirming and acknowledging the registration.

iii. The Participant shall upload only the raw singing videos without any audio filters or enhancements and the Parent on behalf of the Participant shall upload minimum of one (1) video.

iv. If at any point of time the Company finds that the mobile number shared by the Parent on behalf of the Participant is found to be false and /or unauthenticated and /or fabricated, then Company and/or Production House shall have the right to forthwith disqualify such Participant from further participation and his /her Entry shall immediately be considered to be null and void.

v. The Video(s) uploaded on the Platform may be in the ‘.mp4’ or ‘.mov’ format and shall not exceed the size of 60 mb for each video.

For the purposes of this Audition, by uploading and/or submitting his/her Video(s) on the Platform, the Parent on behalf of the Participant agrees and undertakes that the Parent on be i. For the purposes of this Audition, by uploading and/or submitting his/her Video(s) on the Platform, the Parent on behalf of the Participant agrees and undertakes that the Parent on behalf Participant is unconditionally bound by the Terms and Conditions.

Selection & Shortlisting Process

Level 1

i. Subject to the Participant(s) having made a valid Entry, all the audition Video(s) fulfilling the criteria set out herein shall be viewed and evaluated by a team consisting of Production House and/or the Company and/or Channel and/or its representatives and/or professional experts/singers/music composers appointed by the Company and/or the Production House, at their own discretion for each of the Levels of Auditions (“Panel”) .

ii. The Participant(s) shall be evaluated and shortlisted by the Panel on the overall basis of his/her voice quality, sur, rhythm & tempo, expressions, overall presentation of the song or any such other criteria determined by the Company/Production House at its sole discretion.

iii. The Panel shall have the sole authority to judge and rate the audition Video(s) and performance of all the Participants and their decision shall be final and binding on all Participants and their Parents on behalf of the Participant(s).

Based on the evaluations of the Video(s) by the Panel, the top-rated performances shall be shortlisted for further Level of Auditions.

iv. The Parents of all Participant(s) selected and shortlisted for Level 2 shall be intimated about the selection vide an email and/or personally intimate via telephone to the contact number that has been provided by the Parent on behalf of the Participant at the time of registration or any other mode of communication as the Company/Production House

Level 2

i. The Participant(s) shortlisted at Level 1 shall be required to participate and perform in Level 2 Auditions, via such social connecting platform/media in the mode and manner including but not limited to Zoom, Google Meet etc. as determined by the Company and communicated to the Parents of the Participant(s).

ii. The Level 2 Digital Auditions will be tentatively conducted between November 1, 2021 to November 4, 2021 or on such dates fixed & announced by the Company and/or Production House, at their sole discretion through the Website and/or any other medium, which is required to be checked by the Parent on behalf of the Participant(s) from time to time.

iii. The Parent on behalf of the Participant agrees, acknowledges and understands that Level 2 of the Digital Auditions may be conducted via video conference on any social connecting platform as determined by the Company including but not limited to Zoom, Google Meet, Whatsapp video call etc.

Level 3

On Ground Auditions :
i. The Participant(s) shortlisted at Level 2 shall be required to participate and qualify in further levels of On Ground Auditions (as detailed herein below) to be held tentatively at Mumbai.

OTHER INTERESTED PARTICIPANT(S) WHO HAVE NOT UNDERGONE FOR DIGITAL AUDITIONS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ON GROUND AUDITIONS.

ii. Participant(s) shortlisted at Level 2 shall be required to be present in the Audition Centre in Mumbai or any other location /city as deemed fit by the Company at its sole discretion to participate and perform in Level 3 of Auditions on specific dates and time as decided and communicated by the Company.

iii. These auditions will be conducted for 2 days i.e. from November 7, 2021 to November 8, 2021 or on such dates fixed & announced by the Company and/or Production House, at its sole discretion through the Website and/or any other medium, which is required to be checked by the Parent on behalf of the Participant(s) from time to time.
