What is Spacekidz Young Scientist India (YSI) Competition?
“Young Scientist India (YSI) competition 2021-2022” is conducted by Spacekidz India.The competition is split into 5 categories. Agriculture, App development, Electronics, Robotics, and Space Sciences. Students who are studying in Class/Grade: 8th – 12th are eligible to apply.Private and Government students have to be registered separately and send their project abstracts online.Registrations will be open from October 25th, 2021 – Dec 25th, 2021.
Eligibility
Class/Grade: 8th – 12th. Students from all over India are eligible to participate.
How to Apply For Spacekidz Young Scientist India (YSI) competition?
To Apply For Spacekidz Young Scientist India (YSI) competition, just follow the below steps
Steps:
Please keep all the answers and any required documents ready before registration.
* Enter only correct contact information (Address, Email-ID & Contact number).
* Please attach your Student ID card, If not application won’t be accepted.
* Incomplete registration forms will be rejected.
* Make use of the help text available.
* Please take guidance from Parent, Mentor, or any guardian to fill the application. Any incorrect information will be disqualified.

Prizes
** One WINNER each from Private schools and Government schools will be chosen separately and Rs.50,000/- Cash Prize will be awarded.
** 1st RUNNER UP will win cash prizes of Rs.30,000/- each. (1 from private and 1 from the Government School)
** 2nd Runner Up will win a cash prize of 10,000 each. (1 from private and 1 from the Government School)
** Top 3 from each category will win Rs.1000/- cash prizes each. (from Government School and Private School)
** Certificates to all the participants reaching round 2 of the competition.
Judging Criteria
The Challenge will be judged by experts in design and technology including carefully selected academics with expertise on various challenge topics.

** Clarity/Comprehensive
** Solves Industry or humanity Problem
** Feasibility
** Development Planning
** Implementation
Note: This is an Individual contest. Multiple Entries/Submissions Will Lead To Disqualification.
Winners/Runners from previous Young Scientist India editions are not entertained with the same concepts or Innovations.

What are the Important Dates of Young Scientist India Competition?
Important Dates of Spacekidz Young Scientist India Competition YSI 2021-22 are,
Phase I: October 25th to December 25th, 2021 (Send your Abstracts – Online Registration)
Phase II: January 15th, 2022 (Results) (Selected participants will have to prepare to present their innovation at the finale)
Phase III: February 9th, 2022 to February 13th, 2022 (Grand Finale)
During Phase III, finalists will have to present their innovations to the jury. Winners are then selected separately from government and private schools.
