What is MyGov Water Heroes Share Your Stories Contest?
MyGov Water Heroes Share Your Stories Contest 3.0 is organized by Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation. All Indian citizens are participate in the contest. All selected entries shall be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- each. The contest ends on November 2022.

Eligibility
The submission of entry is free and no qualifications are prescribed. All Indian citizens in their personal capacity or on behalf of their NGO/Organization with proper authority letter from organization are entitled to participate in the contest.
How To Participate in the MyGov Water Heroes Share Your Stories Contest?
To Participate in the MyGov Water Heroes – Share Your Stories Contest 3.0, Just follow the below Steps.
Steps:
** The participants will have to post their Success Stories in the field of water conservation and management, which will comprise of (i) a Write-up (upto 300 words), (ii) Pictures/ Photos and (iii) a video clips of one to five minutes duration depicting their efforts/ significant contributions/ best practices used in different parts of the country in the field of water conservation, water utilization or water resources development and management.
** The participants will share their stories, pictures along with the link of their Youtube Video on MyGov portal. In addition to MyGov Portal, the entries may also be submitted to waterheroes.cgwb [A] gmail.com .
Instructions to upload film
1. Please upload your film on your youtube channel.
2. In the comment section, copy, paste the youtube link here. (do not upload the film here)
Prizes
All selected entries will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- each. Each month, a maximum of 10 entries shall be selected as winner.
Terms and Conditions
** The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
** One entrant can participate only once. Multiple entries from the same entrant shall not be considered and will be discarded.
** All entries received by the stipulated date, and found in order, shall be evaluated by a Committee constituted by the Ministry. The decision of the Committee will be final.
** The winning entries would be the intellectual property of the Ministry of Jal Shakti and the winner shall not exercise any right over it. The Ministry will have unfettered right to modify the prize winning entry and may use them for promotional purposes, Information,Education and Communication (IEC) materials and also for any other use as may be deemed appropriate.
** Each of the winners will be notified through email address that they will provide along with their submission. The MyGov portal shall also display the names of winners. The prize money shall be transferred through RTGS/NEFT.
** The Government of India, if it so decides, reserves the right not to proceed with the competition at any stage. The Ministry reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of this Contest and/ or Terms and Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria.
** The participant should make sure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since the Ministry would be using this for further communication. This includes details such as name, photo, complete postal address, email ID and phone number. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered.
** All Government employees participating in this competition should have prior permission from their employer to participate in this competition.
** The responsibility to comply with the guidelines and other terms and conditions fully lies with the participant (s) and the Government of India shall not be answerable to any dispute raised by a third party.
