What is Asianet Star Singer Junior Season 3 Audition?

Star Singer Junior Season 3 Audition is organised by Asianet Star Communications Private Limited. The age limit is between 4 to 12 Years. The Participant should be an Indian citizen and resident of India. The Auditions are an integral part of the Program. There are four levels of auditions. The Audition period commencing from 09th September, 2022 & ends on 15th September, 2022.

Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria of Star Singer Junior Season 3 Audition is given below,
a) The age limit is between 4 to 12 Years.
(b) At least one Parent of the Participant should be an Indian citizen and resident of India, as per applicable laws
(c) should be conversant in spoken Malayalam and/or English and shall be able to sing Malayalam, Tamil and/or Hindi songs.

How To Participate in the Star Singer Junior Season 3 Audition?

To Participate in the Star Singer Junior Season 3 Audition, Follow the below steps

1. Upon entering into the Website, a registration form shall be displayed in the Website and the same is required to be filled by the Parent of the Participant who shall fill in all the relevant and necessary details as stated and enumerated therein and upon submitting Video on Website.

2. It may be clarified that the Parent of the Participant(s) participating in the Digital Auditions may register on the Platform only once through a particular mobile phone number of the Parent of the Participant.

3. Once the mobile phone number is registered in the manner as stated therein, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile phone number submitted by the Parent of the Participant.

4. The Parent of the Participant shall also read the personal information policy and click the checkbox to accept the Company’s personal information policy.

(b) Video Upload Functionality:
i. Once the Parent of the Participan shares the Personal Information required, he/she shall record a minimum of one video and/or maximum of two videos of the Participant performing any song of his/her choice, which may primarily be in Malayalam language; such video shall have a minimum duration of 60 seconds each and maximum duration of 120 seconds each.

ii. Once the recording of Participant’s performance is completed, the Parent of the Participant shall upload the Video(s) on the Website by following the instructions and as per the terms specified on such Platform and click on “Submit” button.

iii. The Parent of the Participant shall upload only the raw singing videos without any audio filters or enhancements and the Parent of the Participant shall upload minimum of one (1) video.

iv. The Video(s) uploaded on the Platform may be in the ‘.mp4’ or ‘.mov’ format and shall not exceed the size of 50 mb for each video.

A. Level 1:
i. Subject to the Parent of the Participant having made a valid Entry, all the audition Video fulfilling the criteria set out herein shall be viewed and evaluated by a team consisting of Production House and the Company and Channel and its representatives and experts/singers/music composers appointed by the Company and/or the Production House, at their own discretion for each of the Levels of Auditions.

ii. The Participant shall be evaluated and shortlisted by the Panel on the overall basis of his/her voice quality, pitch, rhythm & tempo, expressions, overall presentation of the song or any such other criteria determined by the Company/Production House at its sole discretion.

iii. The Panel shall have the sole authority to judge and rate the audition Video and performance of all the Parent of the Participants and their decision shall be final and binding on all Participants.

iv. All Participant selected and shortlisted for Level 2 shall be intimated about the selection video an email and/or personally intimate via telephone to the contact number that has been provided by the Parent of the Participant at the time of registration or any other mode of communication.

B. Level 2:
i. The Participant(s) shortlisted at Level 1 shall be required to participate and perform in Level 2 Auditions.
ii. The Level 2 Digital Auditions will be tentatively conducted during the Digital Auditions Period or on such dates fixed & announced by the Company and/or Production House.
iii. The Parent of the Participant agrees, acknowledges and understands that Level 2 of the Digital Auditions may be conducted via video conference on any social connecting platform as determined by the Company.
iv. Such Contestant(s) shall be asked to sing a Malayalam song of their choice to showcase their talent (“Act”) and be further interviewed by the Panel regarding his/her background, family history, singing experience

C. Level 3 – On Ground Auditions
i. The Participant shortlisted at Level 2 shall be required to participate and qualify in further levels of On Ground Auditions to be held tentatively at Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikkode.

ii. Participant shortlisted at Level 2 shall be required to be present in the Audition Centres in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikkode or any other location /city as deemed fit by the Company at its sole discretion to participate and perform in Level 3 of Auditions on specific dates and time as decided and communicated by the Company.

iii. The Company and/or Production House reserves the right to introduce other prospective shortlisted Contestant who have gone through the similar selection process as the Contestant(s) or such other selection process or through On ground only as deemed fit by the Company and/or Production House.

iv. These auditions will be conducted during On Ground Auditions Period or on such dates fixed & announced by the Company and/or Production House, at its sole discretion through the Website and/or any other medium, which is required to be checked by the Parent of the Participant from time to time.
