What is Kerala Tourism Children’s Painting Competition?

Kerala Tourism is excited to introduce the third edition of the International Children’s Online Painting Competition. The theme of the competition is ‘Kerala Village Life’ and any child from any part of the world between the ages of 4 and 16 years can submit their entries online. Lucky winners will get a sponsored five-night family trip to visit major tourist destinations in Kerala. Last date is September 30th, 2023.

Eligibility of Kerala Tourism Children’s Painting Competition

Any child aged between 4 and 16 years, (born on/after 01.01.2007 and on/before 01.01.2019) from any corner of the world can participate in the painting competition.

How To Participate in the Kerala Tourism Painting Competition?

The participant is expected to paint a picture manually on paper using crayons, color pencils or paint and brush or sketch pens. Any picture generated with digital, electronic or mechanical tools will not be accepted for the competition. The picture should then be digitized by any mode and uploaded to the Kerala Tourism contest page (file size cannot exceed 5 MB. The painting dimension should be minimum A4 size.

Prizes of Kerala Tourism Children’s Painting Competition

Prizes are divided into FIVE categories:

A Trip to Kerala from Any Part of the World:
3 Winners:
The top three winners from across all categories will get a five-day sponsored trip to visit destinations in Kerala apart from a Souvenir and Certificate.

10 Winners:
10 winners from across the globe, outside of India, stand a chance to win a five-day family trip to Kerala. Two members can accompany the winner for the trip. Get ready for a fun-filled family trip to the land of serenity and beauty!

A Trip to Kerala from Anywhere in India:
5 Winners:
5 winners from within India stand a chance to win a five-day family trip to Kerala. Two members can accompany the winner for the trip. What can be more exciting than spending a few days with your family in one of the most beautiful states in our country!

3 Winners:
The top three winners from within Kerala will get a booking coupon to stay at a premium property in Kerala for 2 nights along with a memento and a certificate.

Charming Gifts:
70 Winners:
Attractive gifts will be given to 20 winners from outside India, 30 winners from within India and 20 winners from within Kerala

Promoters from Outside India:
5 Winners:
Five promoters from outside India who brings in a maximum number of entrants to the contest will receive a Five-day package to visit destinations in Kerala.

Can adults become a part of the competition?
You can register yourself as a promoter if you are 18 years and above. Any child joining the competition on the basis of your recommendation will be added to your credit and promoters pushing maximum entries will get complimentary tour packages for visiting Kerala.

Who is a promoter?
Anybody who has attained the age of 18 can register as a promoter for this contest. The act is voluntary, and no remuneration of any nature will be paid to promoters.

Is there any entry fee for this competition?
No, entry to this competition is free!

Is there any restriction on the number of entries?
The entrant can register only once but she/he can submit up to five entries, if she/he desires to do so.

What should be drawn, is there a specific theme for the competition?

The theme of the competition is Kerala village life! The painting can be anything related to villages of Kerala. For your reference, we have created a webpage, videos and e- brochures with beautiful pictures and videos. You will get everything you need here.
