What is Star Vijay Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7?

“Bigg Boss – Tamil – Season – 7’’ (“Program”) which is to be exploited on “Star Vijay”, being the channel owned and operated by Star India Private Limited  and also on “Disney+ Hotstar” being the platform owned and operated by SIPL’s affiliate Novi Digital Entertainment Private Limited. The Program will be published on the Platform from 1st October 2023 onwards and telecasted on the Channel.

Rules of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7

The Program is a reality show where individuals/housemates (“Participants”) staying in the Bigg Boss House will nominate housemates for eviction from the Program at intervals decided by SIPL (“Shortlisted Participant”).

During the Program, the Viewers will be asked to cast their vote for the Shortlisted Participant whom they want to save from being evicted from the Program. Each interested Viewer shall be entitled to cast only one (01) vote per day through his /her Hotstar log in id (registered mobile number / email id) and/or only one (01) vote per day by dialing the numbers assigned to each Participant (more fully given under) from the Viewer’s mobile phone and for any 1 (one) of the Shortlisted Participants.

For avoidance of doubt it is clarified that an interested Viewer shall be entitled to cast his /her vote only once in a day from a particular 1 (one) Hotstar log in id (registered mobile number / email id) and/or 1 (one) mobile phone for any 1 (one) of the Shortlisted Participants nominated for that corresponding week, during the Period.

In the event the Viewer submits multiple votes for a particular Shortlisted Participants and /or casts votes for multiple Shortlisted Participants from a particular Hotstar log in id and mobile phone on the same day, then only the first vote from Hotstar log in id and only the first vote from mobile phone shall be taken into consideration and the remaining votes shall be rejected and declared null and void.

The Shortlisted Participant who gains the minimum votes from the Viewers, will be eliminated from the Program.

The Program will be published on the Platform from 1st October 2023 onwards and telecasted on the Channel at the timings stated below or such other dates and timings as required SIPL and/or Novi from time to time. It shall be each Viewer’s sole responsibility to periodically check for any update(s) or modification(s) to the timings and dates for telecast of the Program, and periodically check the Website for other changes to the Voting Mechanism and/or other details pertaining to the voting.

Eligibility of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7 Voting

** The Viewer by way of voluntarily participation in the Voting, represents and warrants that he/she has read these Terms and Conditions and that he/she is 18 years old or above. The Viewer further represents and warrants that
(i) he/she is not restricted from or under any disability, whether legal, contractual or otherwise which may restrain/prevent him/her from participating in the Voting Mechanism; and
(ii) he/she shall comply with the applicable laws and these Terms and Conditions and the Policies.
** Proof of age, if requested, of the Viewer(s) must be submitted to SIPL as may be required by SIPL to confirm the eligibility of the Viewer(s).

How to Vote for Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7?

** To participate in the voting, the Viewers must watch/are deemed to have watched the Episodes of the Program being telecast on the Channel every day, on the times as mentioned in clause 5 of these Principal Rules. The Viewers by participating in the Voting Mechanism will get an opportunity to cast their vote for any Shortlisted Participant of that Episode(s) of the Program.

** The Viewers interested in voting can participate by choosing to cast their vote for their favorite Participant through any or both of the 2 (two) mechanisms as mentioned below and shall be subject to the mechanism’s requirements and rules,

Missed Call Mechanism: By dialling the numbers assigned to each Participant (more fully given under) from the Viewer’s mobile phone and casting the vote as more fully detailed in clause 9 of Principal Rules;

Hotstar Mechanism: Login to Disney+ Hotstar application in Android/IOS devises, visit the Bigg Boss Tamil page and click on the Vote now button as more fully described in clause 10 of Principal Rules;

** All the above mechanisms together with any other mechanism that the Channel/SIPL may provide from time to time shall hereinafter collectively be referred to as “Voting Mechanism”. It is clarified that SIPL can amend or modify or dismiss any of the above mentioned mechanisms at its sole discretion.

Missed Call Mechanism

The Missed Call Mechanism for the Territory is as provided below:
** The Viewer should use a valid Indian phone number, registered with network operators in the Territory.

** To vote, the Viewers shall through their mobile numbers dial the unique number of the Shortlisted Participant for the particular Voting Cycle for whom they want to vote and give them a missed call.
The unique number for the Participants shall be as follows:

** It is clarified that each Viewer can cast only 1 (one) vote per day, per device for the corresponding Voting Cycle (defined below) throughout the Period by way of a missed call for the Shortlisted Participant from a mobile number that is registered with a network operator within the Territory. The Viewer will receive an SMS/response from SIPL for the first vote only (if voting is done through mobile only) for the applicable Voting Cycle.

** The Viewer will not be charged by SIPL in the Missed Call Mechanism to cast the votes.

Hotstar Voting Mechanism

A Viewer interested to cast his/her vote, by using Hotstar Voting Mechanism, will be subject to the following mechanism:
** The Viewer will have to Login to their account on the updated Hotstar Application in Android or IOS Device (“App”) and/or any operational devices, visit the Bigg Boss Tamil page and click on the Vote now button for casting his/her vote through this Voting Mechanism. Viewers are advised to check for updates of the Hotstar application from time-to-time.

** The Viewer will have to download the App (if not already available on the device), login to their account on the updated App, visit the ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’ page and click on the Vote now button for casting his/her vote through this Voting Mechanism. Viewers are advised to check for updates of the App from time-to-time.

** Viewers shall be using their login IDs for registering on the Platform at their own risk. Any failure or usage of domain page by any unauthorized party will not be considered by SIPL to allow a Viewer to vote again or withdraw any vote and SIPL shall not entertain any queries in this regard.

** The Bigg Boss Tamil page will list the names of the Shortlisted Participant in a particular Voting Cycle.

** The Viewer has to cast his/her vote for their desired Shortlisted Participant’s against his / her name/emoji / icon to save him/her from eviction.

** Each interested Viewer shall be entitled to cast only one (01) vote through his /her Hotstar log in id (registered mobile number / email id) per day for any 1 (one) of the Shortlisted Participants.

** The Viewer will not be charged in the Hotstar Voting Mechanism to cast the vote, however, there may be cost levied to the Viewer, at the applicable rate, by the network provider for using internet connection which should be verified by the Viewer at his/her sole responsibility.

** In case of casting vote while roaming in different circle/zone, additional roaming rates for browsing of the internet may be applicable. SIPL, Channel, Novi shall not be responsible for any such charges incurred by the Viewer and all charges for browsing/using internet to cast such vote shall be borne solely by the Viewer.

Voting Cycle for Bigg Boss Tamil 7

** In the Voting Mechanism, the Viewer should cast his/her votes for a particular Shortlisted Participant, for the respective Episodes of the Program, during a particular Voting Cycle (as defined below) and any vote cast after the Voting Cycle shall neither be considered as vote for that Episode nor for the next Voting Cycle.

The voting cycle for each Episode shall commence from the Start time and end on the voting End Time (“Voting Cycle”) as detailed below, on the start date as mentioned on the Channel,

NOTE:
** Each interested Viewer shall be entitled to cast only one (01) vote through his /her Hotstar log in id (registered mobile number / email id) per day and only 1 (one) vote will be allowed per day per Mobile of the corresponding week for any 1 (one) of the Shortlisted Participants pre Voting Cycle.

** For avoidance of doubt it is clarified that an interested Viewer shall be entitled to cast his /her vote only once in a day from a particular / 1 (one) Hotstar log in id (registered mobile number / email id) and 1 (one) vote will be allowed per day per Mobile for any 1 (one) of the Shortlisted Participants nominated for that corresponding week, during the Period of Voting Cycle.

** Any vote cast including during the Voting Cycle, exceeding the limit mentioned hereinabove, will not be valid and shall be rendered null and void.
