What is Plaksha University Young Creators League?

Young Creators League 2023-24 is platform that gives high school students an opportunity to convert their ideas into such solutions that brings a positive change to their immediate surroundings by Plaksha University. We are opening a “Tech Challenge” for students from Class 8 to Class 12. Under this challenge students submit a solution, in the form of prototype (or proof-of-concept), to a local problem they identify with. Last Date of Contest is 19th November, 2023.

Eligibility of Young Creators League

** We are opening a “Tech Challenge” for students from Class 8 to Class 12.
** All participants are ‘Tech Creators’ and stand a chance to present at Grand Exhibition at Plaksha University.

Participation Process of Young Creators League

League registration :
Young Creators League is a platform that gives high school students an opportunity to convert their ideas into such solutions that bring a positive change to their immediate surroundings.
Under this challenge students submit a solution, in the form of prototype (or proof-of-concept), to a local problem they identify with. Students build the prototype under the mentorship of Plaksha faculty.

Registration and Submission Deadline: 19 November 2023

Prototype submission :
Participants submit 3-minute video of their prototype (or proof-of-concept) between Sep 20 and Nov 19, 2023.
Results will be declared on Dec 30, 2023.

Grand exhibition :
Top 50 projects will be displayed at an in-person grand exhibition.
Projects to be presented to a jury at Plaksha University.

How to Register in the Young Creators League?

Please register here to participate and receive webinar invitations.
** Click on ‘Register here’ button and fill your details. You will receive a confirmation email on your registered email account.
** Team Size: 2 to 6 students
** Each participant of a team to register individually
** Students from Class 8 to Class 12 can participate
** Problem statements: Students are free to select any problem they identify with
** A student can participate in only one project submission
** There is no registration fee
** Special invitation at Grand Exhibition for “All Girls Team”

Submission Guidelines of Young Creators League

i. Only one member from the team shall submit the project video and mention the names of all their team members.
ii. The Prototype:
** You can use any material to build your prototype

iii. Video submission should be of 3 mins (+1 min reflection) explaining the following:
** It should depict your project idea
** Your analysis of what is to be done
** Your ideation
** A prototype of the final concept
** Testing of the prototype with stakeholders
** 1 minute – self-reflection- talk about what part you enjoyed and what part you didn’t enjoy about the project

iv. The video can be recorded in English or Hindi language
v. Students shall also submit a logbook registering their journey of developing the project, illustrating through photos, posters, and charts.
