What is Bhaskaracharya Mathematical Talent Search Competition?

Bhaskaracharya Mathematical Talent Search Competition (BMTSC) 2023-24 is organized by Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana. This is a national level Mathematics competition for 5th and 6th standard students. Many students from the BP have gone on to win medals at the IMO. Conducting such an annual mathematics competition at the school level, is a fitting tribute to Bhaskaracharya. Last Date of Competition is 15th November 2023.

Objectives of BMTSC

1. Identify students with an aptitude for mathematics, at an early age.
2. Introduce students to a pre-Olympiad type competition.
3. Enhance mathematical ability and logical thinking of students.
4. Conduct Nurture programs for successful students, to improve their problem solving skills.

Eligibility of Bhaskaracharya Mathematical Talent Search Competition

Students in the 6th and the 5th standard.

Pattern of Examination for BMTSC

The exam will be conducted in two rounds.
Round 1: Objective; online Sunday 10th December 2023
Round 2: Subjective; write answers with explanation Sunday 4th February 2024
** The question paper for the first round will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical answer type questions. This question paper will also be available in Marathi.
** Some percentage of the top students from Round 1 will be invited to appear for Round 2.
** Detailed syllabus, past question papers and some problems are available on the web site.
** Prizes will be decided solely on the basis of the marks obtained in the Round 2 exam.

How to Enroll for BMTSC?

Please follow these steps for BMTSC enrollment:
** Sign up yourself using your authorized Email id.
** During sign up you may requested to provide your First name, Last name, etc..
** On successful submission of sign up form, you will receive an email from admin@gyansopan.com for further verification.
** On successful email verification you will get the access to the Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana GyanSopan application.
** Sign in to your GyanSopan account.
** Click on Registration tab.
** You will find BMTSC 2023-2024 under examination list, mentioning the Institute name as Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana.
** Click on view button to proceed further.
** You will find detailed information of BMTSC 2023-2024, including the syllabus and registration fees.
** Click on REGISTER button which will require your ID proof such as School ID card, AADHAAR card, Recent school fee receipt.
** Make the payment to confirm your registration.

How to Register for BMTSC?

Registration*: to be done online, from 1st September 2023 to 15th November 2023.
The link for registration will be announced by 1st September 2023 on our web site www.bprim.org.

Please follow these steps for BMTSC Bulk Registration:
** Sign up yourself using your authorized Email id as a Teacher or an Institute.
** During sign up you may requested to provide your First name, Last name, etc..
** On successful submission of sign up form, you will receive an email from admin@gyansopan.com for further verification.
** On successful email verification you will get the access to the Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana GyanSopan application.
** Sign in to your GyanSopan account.
** Click on Registration tab.
** You will find BMTSC 2023-2024 under examination list, mentioning the Institute name as Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana.
** Click on view button to proceed further.
** You will find detailed information of BMTSC 2023-2024, including the syllabus and registration fees.
** Click on BULK REGISTRATION button which will require you to download an empty excel template.
** You are then requested to fill the excel template with the student’s details such as First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, EmailId, Grade and Mobile No.
** On completing the excel template, please upload it on the GyanSopan account
** Make the payment to confirm your registration.

Prizes of Bhaskaracharya Mathematical Talent Search Competition

First: ₹ 5000/- + a book
Second: ₹ 4000/- + a book
Third: ₹ 3000/- + a book

** Additionally, Cheer prizes in the form of books will be given to some percentage of the top students from Round 2.
** A Nurture training camp will be arranged for all such students who are awarded a prize.
** Certificates will be given to all the participants in both rounds.
** Depending upon the response, we may announce additional prizes for rural category students.
** Final results will be declared in March 2024 on our website.
** You may appear for the Round 1 exam from a place of your choice. A mock test will be conducted a week before the competition.
