The Hipi Dance Battle is 5-and-a-half-month competition open to everyone. Hipi Dance Battle starts from 21st of October, 2023. Last Date of Contest is 20th November 2023.

Who can Participate in the Dance Battle?

Indian citizens over 18 years or with parent/ guardian approval for those under 18.

How to Participate in the Dance Battle?

Step 1: Download the Hipi app
Step 2: Sign up or log in to your existing Hipi account
Step 3: Create a video around the monthly theme and upload using the specific hashtag

** The Hipi Dance Battle is 5-and-a-half-month competition open to everyone
** Hipi Dance Battle starts from 21st of October, 2023
** To be eligible, videos must include the monthly challenge hashtag. The first challenge hashtag is #AnyOneCanDance, starting from 21st Oct- 20th Nov
** A celebrity judge selects two best dance videos for every challenge and the winner receives Rs.15,000 each
** After 5 successful challenges, 10 monthly winners and 2 wild card entrants compete for the grand prize of Rs. 1 Lakh
** Contestants can also win daily cash prizes through Leaderboard

Prizes of Dance Battle

** At the end of 5 successful challenges, the top 12 finalists will compete for 2 more weeks, and one grand winner will be declared. The celebrity judges will choose the ‘Dance Warrior’ based on their talent and video quality.
** The winner of Hipi Dance Battle takes home a cash prize of Rs.1 Lakh

What do I win?
Monthly Challenge winner – Rs. 15,000 and a spot in the final round. The grand winner of Hipi Lipsync Battle will win Rs.1 Lakh cash prize. A daily cash prize of Rs. 1000 is offered through a leader board system. The leader board displays the top 20 creators who have received the most likes on their challenge video.

Will I be paid to upload my Dance videos?
No, not to upload, but if you participate you can win daily and monthly cash prizes.

How many videos can I upload in 1 day?
You can upload as many videos as you want but be sure to follow the rules of the challenge.

Can I perform as a solo dancer, or do I need to be part of a group?
Absolutely, you can shine as a solo dancer! Whether solo or in a group, the stage is yours to own. It’s all about your passion and moves.

What is the duration of videos to be submitted?
The video entries should not exceed 90 seconds.

Do I just need to submit dance videos?
You need to upload dance videos on the monthly theme with monthly theme hashtag.

How many videos do I need to upload to be eligible in the contest?
You need to upload at least 1 video to be eligible for the contest. But more, the merrier!

Do we need to upload every day?
There is no compulsion as such. But more videos increase the chances of engagement and winning.

How will I get my cash prize and how long will it take to receive it?
Once the winner’s name is announced, our team will get in touch with you and will take all your details to start the process. Once the process starts, it may take about a month for the cash prize to reach you.

When will the winner of each hashtag challenge be announced?
The winner will be declared 15 days following the conclusion of the challenge.

Can I submit more than 1 entry?
Yes, you can submit more than 1 entry.

Will this challenge be held in a particular venue?
No, this challenge will be held virtually.
