Age Criteria of Canara Bank Marathon

** Only individual entries for Canara Fun Run 3K , Canara Savings Run 5K and Canara Premium Run 10K categories shall be accepted.
** Canara Savings Run 5K Marathon applicants must be 12 years and above as on 19th November 2023
** Canara Premium Run 10K applicants must be 15 years above as on 19th November 2023
** Canara Fun Run 3K applicants are allowed of all ages.

Entry Confirmations :
Confirmation of applications received will be subject to Entry Rules & Guidelines given herein. Confirmation of Canara Savings and Premium marathon and Canara Fun marathon applications will also be subject to the Confirmation Criteria.

Rules & Regulation of Canara Bank Marathon

** Online registration will close on November 18th 2023 at 5:00 pm.
** You are to participate only in the race category for which you have applied and for which your entry has been confirmed. Your entry and running number bib and/or bib tag is not transferable to any other person under any circumstance.
** Any changes in the category will not be entertained.
** Runners found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or bib tag with another individual, will be disqualified from the Event.
** The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify or exclude any person from the event/competition who gives incorrect personal data/details on the entry form, who has been banned from competition under IAAF jurisdiction, or who is suspected of having taken banned substances. No refund of entry fee will be made.
** No result or certificate will be given to runners who do not start their run at the respective start times of the race categories they have been confirmed in.
** Please note if you tamper with the bib tag in any way or remove/exchange it with another runner, you won’t be able to get an official finish time and thereby the official timing certificate recording your finish times. No Chip, No Timing, No Prize Money.
** No wheeled vehicles are allowed on the course. Anyone bringing wheeled vehicles will be disqualified from the race and asked to leave the course.
** Participants are not allowed to run with pets, unregistered runners or babies/children who are under aged for the designated category.
** Participants will not be allowed to enter the event venue with gas balloons.
** In order to ensure the re-opening of roads by 10.30 a.m. (Or as decided by the event organisers), the organisers will designate cut off times at specified locations. Runners failing to reach these specific locations within times specified must stick to the footpath in order to complete your race.
** Only those confirmed participants wearing the current Canara Bank Marathon 2023 running number bibs will be allowed on the route. Any person found wearing the incorrect bib or no bib will be disqualified and removed by security.
** Further, every runner must wear his/her running number bib on the front of the vest. Any mutilation, fold, alteration or damage to the bib will amount to disqualification of the runner from the Event.
** Organisers reserve the right to stop any participant from participating who is found medically unfit to continue in the opinion of the medical personnel.
** Baggage counters are available only for participants of the Canara Bank Marathon 2023.For security reasons, participants are requested to come, as far as possible, without any baggage. It is strongly recommended that you do not leave valuables like mobile phone, camera, jewellery, watch, electronic gadgets, etc. in the bag stored. Organisers are not responsible for any loss or baggage and belongings.
** Participants are requested to cooperate with the Event Volunteers/police and security personnel deputed at the event venues and on route. Participants/supporters are liable to random checking on race day for your own security.
** Photographs taken of runners during Canara Bank Marathon 2023 event organised prior to and on race day can be used for the purpose of promoting the event.

What does the Registration fee cover?
The fee covers entry to the event.

Will I get a race day T-shirt?
Race Day T-shirt is complimentary for first 2000 Participants from each category in 5K & 10K. The sizes are ordered well in advance. While we try our best to get you the correct size, the organizers will not be held responsible in case of shortage of any t-shirt size.

If I register under Early bird offer will I get the same Race kit like other participants?
All the registered participants will get the same race kit with the same contents for both 5K & 10K

Can I register manually (offline)?
There are no manual registrations for the event.

Can I transfer/cancel my registration? Will there be any refund?
Sorry, no cancellations are possible and registration fees are non-refundable.

Can I change the category after the registration?
No this will not be possible once registered for a particular Category.

Can I change the category on race day?
No, you will not be able to change the category.

How can I collect my Bib?
All confirmed participants are required to collect the Bibs at a pre-designated Canara Bank branches/offices on 16th & 17th November 2023 between 10.00 am to 9.00 pm and a Kiosk will be displayed in Sree Kanteerava Stadium on November 18th 2023 from 9 am to 9 pm to collect their running number bibs and kits. No running number will be posted to an individual’s mailing address nor distributed on race day.

What documents should I carry to collect my Bib?
Soft Copy of Confirmation Email/SMS with BIB Number details.
Soft Copy of Photo-identity proof (Aadhar card, PAN Card or passport) of the confirmed participant.

How do I wear Bib?
Participants must wear their BIB on their chest, ensuring it is visible. Wearing the BIB on the back will result in disqualification from the winner’s list. Further, participants are not allowed to exchange their timing BIBs with others. Each BIB is unique and should only be used by the assigned participant. Any participant found wearing another participant’s BIB will be disqualified.

How will I receive any updates regarding the Canara Bank Marathon event?
All event-related updates will be shared via the registered email address

How do I know if my application is submitted?
On the application being successfully submitted, registrants will receive an email and SMS confirming their application with a unique code.
