What is Bihar Tourism Content Writing Contest?

Online content Writing competition is being organized by the Department of Tourism, Govt. of Bihar. Participants must be resident of India having age 15 years or above. Participants must ensure that they do not submit multiple entries of same Topic in any category, it will lead to disqualification from contest. Participants can submit their entries in Hindi , English or both the languages if sending content for multiple locations. Last Date of Contest is 14th December 2023.

Eligibility of Content Writing Contest

** Contest will start from 25th Nov 2023 (11:00 AM-IST) and ends on 14th Dec 2023 (23:59 PM-IST).
** Participants must be resident of India having age 15 years or above. A valid age & identity proof will be mandatory to be submitted.
** Participants must share their name, email address, telephone number, and postal address.

How to Participate in the Content Writing Contest?

** Multiple entries from the same participant will be accepted but not above 10 entries (5 for Short category content and 5 for Long category content). Short Content will range from 100 – 200 words & Long Content will range from 400- 500 words.

Participants can take part in short content writing, long content writing, or both. If a participant submits more than 10 entries (5 for short Category content and 5 for Long Category Content) his all the entries will be cancelled.

** Participants must ensure that they do not submit multiple entries of same Topic in any category, it will lead to disqualification from contest.
** Participants can submit their entries in Hindi , English or both the languages if sending content for multiple locations.
** Separate winner will be selected from both English & Hindi Segments.
** All winners will get an appreciation certificate from the Department of Tourism, Govt. of Bihar.
** Winners will be notified through telephone, or the email address provided along with their entry submission.
** The prize money will be transferred through CHEQUE/RTGS/NEFT.

** All entries must be submitted to www.tourism.bihar.gov.in. Ensure to provide correct, accurate, and updated details as we will use the information for further communication. Entries with incomplete profile information would be rejected.

** Department of Tourism, Govt of Bihar will have the right to use/ print/ display the contents submitted by the participants.
** Participants will submit their entries in PDF format only via the Google form available on the Bihar Tourism Website.
** The Participant shall abide by all the rules and regulations of participation in the Contest from time to time.

Prize and Awards for Hindi Category (Short Writing) :
Prizes for participants: 100 to 200 words
First Prize: Rupees One Lakh, (INR 1,00,000/)
Second prize: Rupees Seventy – Five Thousand, (INR 75,000/)
Third prize: Rupees Fifty Thousand, (INR 50,000/)
Consolation Prize: Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred (INR 2500/)
Location/Topic approved for content creation:- 158 (list attached)
** All relevant content will be published on the Department of Tourism Website & and winners will be mentioned on the Social Media Platform including the winner for consolation prizes.

Prize and Awards for Hindi Category (Long Writing) :
Prizes for participants: 400 to 500 words
First Prize: Rupees One Lakh, (INR 1,00,000/)
Second prize: Rupees Seventy – Five Thousand, (INR 75,000/)

Consolation Prize: Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred (INR 2500/)
