What is The Madurai Marathon?

Devadoss Hospital Private Limited Proudly Presents Madurai Marathon is on January 7 2024. The Madurai Marathon was started at the year of 2017 and continued to its fourth year now. For every year The Madurai Marathon had a different theme. The theme for this year is“ Each One.. Save One..” There as on behind the theme is, Devadoss Hospital planned to teach CPR Training for all the Marathon participants. At the end of the Marathon, every one will learn how to save one life.

Eligibility of Madurai Marathon

Participants of all age groups, above 10 years, are welcome to register for “The Madurai Marathon” in their respective categories. Prizes and awards will be granted exclusively to Indian citizens.

Race Categories of Madurai Marathon

The Madurai Marathon” offers three race categories: 21km, 10.5km, and 5km. Participants can choose their preferred category during registration.

Men & Women 21 KM :
Age: Above 18 years
Distance: 21 KM
Prizes will be announced
Start time : 5:00AM

Men & Women 10.5 KM :
Age: Above 18 years
Distance: 10.5 KM
Prizes will be announced
Start time : 5:00AM

Mini Marathon 5 KM :
Open (No age/gender bar)
Distance: 5 KM
Finishers will get medal and certificate
Start time : 5:00AM

Kids Marathon 5 KM :
Age: 10 to 15 years
Distance: 5 KM
Prizes will be announced
Start time : 5:00AM

Health and Safety :
All participants are required to acknowledge and accept that they are running at their own risk. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions, including heart patients and individuals with other health risks, should consult with a medical professional before participating. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure they are physically fit to take part in the event.

Awards and Prizes of Madurai Marathon

Prizes and awards will be distributed only to Indian citizens who finish within the stipulated time in their respective categories. Foreign participants will receive recognition and participation certificates but will not be eligible for cash prizes or medals.

All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner and adhere to the rules and regulations of the event. Any form of cheating, misbehavior, or violation of the event rules may result in disqualification.
