What is Financial WoWs, Wizards of the Week Contest?

Financial WoWs, Wizards of the Week Contest 2024 is organized by Bennett, Coleman & Co. Limited (BCCL). The Contest is open for any citizen of India. The participant should fill in the mandatory details and answer the questions by applying their minds while participating in the Contest. Only one entry per person will be considered for Contest entry. Winners will be announced in the ET Wealth issue dated 5 February 2024. Last Date of Contest is 5th February 2024.

Terms & Conditions of Financial WoWs, Wizards of the Week Contest

(1) The contest shall be known as ‘ Financial WoWs, Wizards of the week Contest’ and shall be held only between 22 Jan to 5 Feb, 2024 (hereinafter known as “Period of the Contest”).
(2) The Contest is organized, managed and conducted by BCCL.
(3) This Contest is subject to BCCL’s policies and other conditions.
(4) There shall be no entry fee for the Contest, and it is organized as a customer engagement initiative.
(5) The Contest is open for any citizen of India.

(6) The participant should fill in the mandatory details and answer the questions by applying their minds while participating in the Contest. Only one entry per person will be considered for Contest entry.

The Participant will need to share the content, including without limitation and as the case may be, images, video, audio, story, slogan, posts, texts or any other material submitted or recorded in any manner by the participant for the Contest (“Content”).

The participant successfully registering with the required details correctly and correctly answering the question using his/her mind will be selected randomly through computer generated technique to become eligible to win. BCCL may also ask any participant to provide proof of originality and/or proof of identification.

In case of any third-party dispute due to submission of entry by any participant, the participant or its legal guardian shall indemnify BCCL, its affiliates, its directors, its employees and any third-party vendor against any such third-party claim.

(7) By entering into the Contest, the participants agree to grant exclusive, worldwide, perpetual and irrevocable right to BCCL and its affiliates, contractors, service providers, clients, agents and partners to use, adapt, modify or edit the Content and/or portray him/her as a Winner, and to exhibit this material in any manner BCCL may deem fit, in its own discretion, in any and all media now existing or hereinafter created, including, without limitation, television, film, radio, print and digital media, without payment of any compensation whatsoever for advertising and publicity purposes, except where prohibited by law.

(8) The participant voluntarily agrees to submit the required documents and personal information to participate in the Contest. The participant voluntarily consents and permits BCCL to use any personal information that the participant provides in accordance with applicable laws for the purposes of this Contest and for any marketing or other purposes.

BCCL may also share such information(s) with its affiliates, contractors, service providers, clients, agents and partners for the purpose of this Contest.

The information may also be used by BCCL for:
(i) recommending various products or services, including those of third parties;
(ii) dealing with requests, enquiries and complaints and Contest related activities;
(iii) marketing products and services and its analysis;
(iv) abiding with laws and law enforcement/regulatory requests.

(9) Mere submission of the entry does not give any warranty or guarantee of publication in BCCL feature or any voucher.
(10) Decision of the management of BCCL is final and no correspondence or any other claims whatsoever, in this regard will be entertained.

Selection of Winners for Financial WoWs, Wizards of the Week Contest

** The winners will be announced in the ET Wealth issue dated 5 February 2024.
** The winners will be informed via email which was verified during registration/shared while sending their entries.
** BCCL will try to contact the participant on a best effort basis on the mobile number/email which was verified during registration.
** BCCL shall not be responsible for any lapse in any communication on account of network or technology failure.
** The vouchers shall be delivered to the winners through email on their registered email which was verified during registration.
** The terms of the vouchers will vary basis the brands who are providing these vouchers.
** Each voucher may have a validity period and the same can be redeemed with the respective platforms/brands within such validity period as mentioned on the voucher.
** In case any winner refuses to accept the voucher decided for him/her, his/her participation in the Contest will be declared null and void.
** vouchers cannot be exchanged for their value in cash or for other vouchers and are non transferable.
** Further, any charge over and above the stated voucher shall have to be borne by the participants themselves.
