What is CEO HP Poster, Song and Small Video Making Contest?

Poster, Song and Small Video Making Contest 2024 is organized by Chief Electoral Officer, Himachal Pradesh. Election Department intends to launch a Voter Awareness contest for the students studying in various Sr.Secondary Schools/Colleges/ITIs in Himachal Pradesh, to reiterate the importance of every vote through creative expression. This contest aims at tapping into the talent and creativity of students, while also strengthening democracy through their active involvement. The contest aims at celebrating ideas and content curated on the theme of the importance of every single vote in a democracy. Last Date of Contest is 1st March, 2024.

Categories of Poster, Song and Small Video Making Contest

1. Poster Design Contest:
** This contest is for art and design enthusiasts who can create thought- provoking posters on the above-mentioned contest themes or any other theme related to electoral awareness.
** Participants can submit a digital poster, sketch, or painted poster on the themes. The poster should be of good resolution.

2. Song Contest :
** The Song Contest is aimed at harnessing the talent and potential of creative minds through the medium of a song in any form including Classical, Contemporary & Rap etc.
** Participants can create and share original compositions on any of the themes or any other theme related to electoral awareness.
** Artists & singers may use any musical instrument of their choice. The song duration must not exceed 3 minutes.

3. Video Making Contest:
** Video Making Contest provides an opportunity to camera lovers to create a video that celebrates the diversity & festivity of Indian Elections.
** Participants shall create a video on any one of the above themes or any other theme related to electoral awareness.

Eligibility of Poster, Song and Small Video Making Contest

** The poster design, song contest, and video-making contest is open to all students studying in different Sr. Sec. Schools/ITIs/Colleges in Himachal Pradesh.
** Name of the participant should be registered in the voter list.
** Contest Timeline – 25th January, 2024 to 1st March, 2024

** The participant shall go through detailed rules and regulations on the contest website.

Terms & Conditions of Poster, Song and Small Video Making Contest

** All entries shall be submitted by March 1st, 2024, through the link given above.
** Any entries containing offensive or inappropriate language, references to any political parties or religions containing vulgar or racist content against particular cultures or communities, or unverified information shall not be accepted.
** Entries for the video and song contest may be given in any of Hindi/English language/Himachali dialects. Entries in English language must include Hindi subtitles for reference.
** The Election Department reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and the Terms & Conditions of the competition.
** Any disputes or any issues related to this competition would be decided by the Election Department, which will be Final.
** No plagiarism- original pieces only. Please note that the work must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
** The entries submitted would be the sole property of the Election H.P. Election Department with the right to use and edit for any purpose it considers appropriate.
** The designs might also be included in the multimedia voter awareness campaigns of the H.P. Election Department.
** The entries will be judged by a jury constituted by the Election Department Any request for re- evaluation of the entries will not be entertained.
