What is Conde Nast Where Are You? Competition?

Condé Nast Traveller’s Where Are You? Competition 2024 is organized by Conde Nast (India) Private Limited CNI. The Applicant must be a resident and citizen of India and above 18 years of age. Entry to the Competition does not require any fees. The entries for the Competition must arrive no later than the first day of the second month on that issue’s cover. The entries must be in English and complete in all respects. Incomplete entries will not be considered for a prize. Last Date of Contest is 30th March 2024.

Eligibility of Where Are You? Competition

** The Applicant must be a resident and citizen of India and above 18 years of age.
** Illegible or mechanically-produced entries are not eligible.
** Employees of CNI, participating promotional agencies, contributors to CNI, and the families of any of those above are not eligible to contest.

How to Participate in the Where Are You? Competition?

** Entries for the Competition can be sent on a postcard, by email or online with the Applicant’s full name, address and telephone number and it must correctly identify the place described according to T&Cs.

** The entries for the Competition must arrive no later than the first day of the second month on that issue’s cover. The last day of receiving entries is 30 March 2024 and may be extended at CNI’s sole discretion. Winners will be intimated by post or over the telephone wherever possible.

** The entries must be in English and complete in all respects. Incomplete entries will not be considered for a prize. Entries by text message are not eligible.
** Winners will be judged at the discretion of CNI. The decision of the judges will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained. Only one correct answer will be registered per entrant per issue.
** Entry to the Competition does not require any fees.
** Applicants who provide inaccurate, fabricated and incorrect information shall be solely responsible for any losses and damages suffered by CNI and/or any third party.
** CNI shall not be responsible in any manner or form for:
** Late, lost or damaged mail or email.
** Non receipt of any data or rejection of any incomplete data; or
** Any lost, late, or misdirected computer transmission or network, electronic glitches of any kind or failure to receive entries due to any technical reasons and other conditions/situations beyond its control.

** Prizes will not be transferred or exchanged for cash or any other item. No refunds or credits for changes or cancellations are allowed. All other expenses and costs, which are not specified as being included in the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner. All prizes must be redeemed prior to the expiry date. Taxes if any on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

** All the applications submitted after the defined timelines shall be treated invalid and would not be eligible for evaluation.

Terms & Conditions of Where Are You? Competition

** All entries to the Competition shall be the sole property of CNI and will neither be acknowledged nor returned.
** Nothing contained herein amounts to commitment or representation by CNI.
** CNI reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or suspend the Competition and no claims shall be made against CNI for the same.
** Acceptance of the prize constitutes consent for the use of the winner’s name and likeness and those of his/her travelling companion for editorial, advertising and publicity purposes.

** CNI will not be liable for any loss, damage or expense incurred by a prizewinner or by his/her travelling companion (for example, costs of repatriation) as a consequence of any party participating in providing the prize becoming insolvent or entering into liquidation or bankruptcy.

** CNI reserves the right to reject any application at its sole discretion and CNI’s decision in this regard shall be final.
** The applicant shall comply with all applicable laws, statutes, regulations, and codes, including but not limited to anti-bribery and anti-corruption regulations.
** In case of any conflict regarding the T&Cs or any other Competition related queries, the decision of CNI shall be final and binding on you.
** All disputes relating to or arising out of the Competition or in relation to any nomination or decisions, shall be subject to the laws of India and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, India.
** CNI may demand valid documentation to validate your age, citizenship, residence, registrations or any other information as they may deem necessary.
** Images and information that the applicant sends may be used by CNI for any purpose, will not be subject to any confidential treatment and may be disclosed by CNI without further consent from the applicant.

** If any point or provision of the T&Cs is illegal, invalid, or unenforceable under applicable current or future laws, then it is the intention of the parties that the remainder of the T&Cs shall not be affected but shall remain in full force and effect.

** Nothing in these T&Cs is intended to entail any transfer or grant of intellectual property rights to the applicant. The applicant warrants that there are no Intellectual Property Rights of third parties which preclude You from submitting the nomination.

All rights, title and interest, including but not limited to the intellectual property rights in any/all images/photographs uploaded by CNI on its platforms shall vest with CNI. You hereby grant CNI a non-exclusive, unlimited, perpetual, irrevocable and royalty free license to use the images/photographs shared by you for the Competition, in any manner as it may deem fit.

The applicant shall not in any manner or form utilize any material including but not limited to images, photographs, logos etc. of CNI without CNI’s prior written consent.

** The participation in the Competition is deemed to be voluntary and the personal information provided in relation thereto, if any, is deemed to be non-confidential. CNI shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose and distribute this information to third parties without any prior consent or intimation from/to you.

** CNI reserves the right to pursue legal action against any applicant believed to have undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful for the Competition, the entry submission process or to be acting in violation of applicable laws.
** CNI reserves the right to amend these T&Cs without prior notice to the applicant.

** The T&Cs constitute the entire agreement between the parties hereto with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, oral, written, and implied, between the parties hereto with respect to the subject matter hereof. It is hereby clarified that these T&Cs shall supersede any prior versions of terms and conditions published by CNI in this regard.
