Photography Contest :

The New Photo Contest 2016 is open contest to any photographer. Team Members of Mukutmanipur Tourism Website are not eligible to enter.

The entry is free for everyone.

The Photo Contest is sponsored by Koel Art Painting.

Entry Period :
The Photo Contest begins at 12:00am on Dec 25th, 2015 and ends at 23:59pm on Jan 15, 2016 (the “Entry Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Photo Contest.

What To Enter :
** Photos submitted must be taken in Mukutmanipur area.To ensure eligibility for the contest all entries must have a resolution of 5 million pixels or greater (5 megapixels) to be made available upon request. Please only submit web resolution files at the time of entry.

** Photos that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization (removal of dust, cropping, reasonable adjustments to exposure, color and contrast, etc.) will be disqualified. Entries may originate in any format but preferred in a .jpeg, .jpg or .gif format. Multiple exposures that have been combined to produce a single “High Dynamic Range”(HDR) image are acceptable..

Please do not include the following:
** Photos that violate or infringe upon another person’s rights, including but not limited to copyright.
** Photos that contain sexually explicit, nude, obscene, violent or other objectionable or inappropriate content
** Images that involve the willful harassment of wildlife, or damage to the environment by the photographer
** Images that involve putting any individual or animal in danger.

How To Enter :
** All images must be submitted though our photo submission website , including all required fields, including name, email and other information about your photo submission. You can also e-mail us your photos with proper information at contest@mukutmanipurtourism.in
** You can select an image directly from your computer desktop, or submit images from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for consideration in the contest.
** You may enter three number of times. Sponsor reserves the right to reject any additional entries or entries that do not comply with these Official Rules. By entering, you indicate your unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding. You cannot win a prize unless you comply with all requirements in these Official Rules.

Judging:
Photos will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact, artistic merit and subject matter relevance to the new wild, except that the People’s Choice award will be determined based on which of the honorable mentions receives the most votes.

We will evaluate all valid entries and pick the following winners in the following categories:
Overall (4 winners. 1 first prize, 1 runner-up, 2 second runner-up).

Categories:
** People & Nature (1 winner): Illustrates above and beyond how people and nature can thrive together on this planet.
** Sponsor’s Choice (1 winner): Overall winner selected from among the voting and sponsors choice.
** Mobile & Social (1 winner): Best submission for cultures of Mukutmanipur or from a mobile device (phone or tablet).
** On Water , Sunset or Sunrise (1 winner): Best vibrant moment of Mukutmanipur
** 20 Honble Mention

Note :
All judging decisions are final. Please do not contact us about the status of entries or judging. We will notify the winner via the contact information provided at the time of entry.

One (1) Overall grand prize winner will receive:

Note:
Prizes will only be shipped to an address in West Bengal. A prize may not be transferred and must be accepted as awarded. A winner may not request cash or a substitute prize; however, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the prize is not available for any reason, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion.

Results:
To request a winners list, send a self-addressed mail on contest@mukutmanipurtourism.in . This will be published publicly on website on 13-15th January 2016.
