What is Rajasthan Royals Fan Poll Contest?

The Fan Poll Contest 2024 is a fan engagement and rewards programme Contest is launched by Royal Multisport Private Limited RMPL, that will be on RMPL’s application “RR App” and on RMPL’s official website, which are owned and operated by RMPL, from 1st March 2024 until the end of the IPL Season 17, 2024. The fan is a citizen and resident of India. The fans may access the Contest on the RR Website or RR App, on any device, which shall, throughout the Term, display a banner containing a link to the Contest.

Eligibility of Fan Poll Contest

The fans shall have the right to participate in this fan engagement Contest (defined hereinafter) in relation to the Rajasthan Royals team (“Rajasthan Royals”) organized and conducted by Royal Multisport Private Limited (“RMPL”), subject to the fulfilment of all of the following conditions (“Participant”):
** The fan is a citizen and resident of India.
** The fan is currently residing and participating within any state/union territory of India except the state of Tamil Nadu; and
** The fan is 18 (eighteen) years of age and is of sound mind.

How to Participate in the Fan Poll Contest?

** The fans may access the Contest on the RR Website or RR App, on any device, which shall, throughout the Term, display a banner containing a link to the Contest.

** The fan shall be required to log into their existing RR profile or create a new RR profile, by submitting the relevant personal details and information to RMPL, which shall include but not be limited to name, age, gender, e-mail address, contact number registered with WhatsApp, a valid address of the fan in India and such other information as may be required by RMPL from time to time (“Participant Information”).

** The fan shall provide their acceptance to participate in the Contest as a Participant, by logging into their RR profile, and submitting their vote for their favourite matchday moment as their entry to the Contest after every match.
** Upon visiting the Contest page, the Participant shall be presented with a number of options which will refer to certain moments which have taken place during the relevant RR game, as per RMPL’s discretion.
** The Participant shall be required to vote and select their preferred moment from the set of options provided by RMPL. The Participant shall also be required to answer a skill-based question.

** The Participant shall be required to submit their preferred option and response to the skill-based question as their entry to the Contest. The Participant shall be required to submit their entry by 11:59 AM of the next day after the relevant RR game or in accordance with the deadline provided by RMPL.

** The leaderboard shall be tallied on the basis of the votes collected from the Participants of the Contest as per the pre-determined rules which shall be provided by and shall be in accordance with the sole and exclusive discretion of RMPL.

** The Participant(s) shall randomly be selected through a computerized selection process from the pool of segregated Participants that were originally differentiated based on highest number of votes collected in a particular category for every matchday game.

** RMPL shall, in its sole and exclusive discretion, declare such number of winner(s) of the Contest through RMPL’s social media channels on any such date(s) as RMPL may determine.

** It is hereinafter clarified that at no point in time shall the Contest or any part thereof be considered as a lottery under the applicable laws. [Equilex Comment: RMPL to provide further details with respect to the selection process of winner(s)]

Terms & Conditions for Fan Poll Contest

** RMPL shall, in its sole and exclusive discretion provide Rajasthan Royals merchandise as to the Participant(s) who are selected as winner(s). The Participant(s) shortlisted as winner(s) shall be sent a confirmation e-mail by RMPL (“Confirmation E-mail”).

** The shortlisted Participant(s) shall be required to respond to the Confirmation E-mail within 24 hours (“Acceptance E-mail”), with their address details for dispatching the prize(s), failing which the shortlisted Participant shall forfeit their prize. RMPL shall, before providing the prize(s) to the Participant(s), have the right to verify the information submitted by such Participant(s).

** The Participant(s) shortlisted as winner(s) shall be required to ensure that they have paid the relevant taxes and costs (including but not limited to delivery) to RMPL, as well as provide sufficient proof of payment to RMPL on email, within 45(forty-five) days from the date on which the winner(s) for this Contest shall be declared by RMPL.

** Failure to comply with this requirement by the relevant Participant(s) shall result in the forfeiture of their prize. RMPL shall, before providing the prize(s) to the Participant(s), have the right to verify the information submitted by such Participant(s)

** Details of the prize(s) for the winner(s) shall be as per the terms and conditions set out in the Terms.
