Gulzari Lal Nanda memorial Declamation Contest and Devotional/Motivational Music (Group) of Kurukshetra Contest on 15th May, 2024. Last Date for submission of entries is 14th May 2024.

On this occasion to publicize the great contribution and good messages of Bharat Ratna Shri Gulzari Lal Nanda regarding good conduct, honesty, integrity, morality, simplicity, patriotism, good polity etc. and to acquaint the school children and society at large regarding these qualities of the great leader the following three activities are being organised at 9.30 a.m. on 15th May, 2024 at the Centre

6. Need of moral values in present age
7. Development of each citizen: development of a country
8. Role of each citizen in nation building

Devotional/ Motivational Music (Group) Competition :
1. Bhajan, Shabad, Prayer/Vandana/Ram-Dhun/Krishna-Dhun/Dohe, Sandesh Geet, Prerna Geet, etc.

Terms & Conditions of Declamation & Music Contest

Terms and Conditions for the above competitions are as the following:-
Declamation Contest:-
(i) All school can send separate teams comprising of two students for this competition.
(ii) Paper reading is not allowed
(iii) Duration is 4 to 5 minutes

Music Contest:-
(i) All school can send separate teams comprising 4 to 6 students for this competition.
(ii) Two accompanies are allowed.
(iii) Compositions should not be recorded but self composed.
(iv) Duration is 3 to 5 minutes.

Prizes of Declamation & Music Contest

Declamation Contest:
Following four prizes will be given to the winners of this competition:-
(a) 1st Prize Rs. 1500/-
(b) 2nd Prize Rs. 1100/-
(c) 3rd Prize Rs. 800/-
(d) Consolation prize Rs. 500/- (Two)

Music Contest:
Following four prizes will be given to the winners of this competition:-
(a) 1st Prize Rs. 3100/-
(b) 2nd Prize Rs. 2100/-
(c) 3rd Prize Rs. 1100/-
(d) Consolation prize Rs. 500/- (Two)

How to Submit Entries for Declamation & Music Contest?

** Entries for participation can be sent through the Principals of the schools upto 14-5-2024 in the office of Bharat Ratna Gulzari Lal Nanda Centre which is situated at the eastern back of Brahmasarovar near Arjun Chowk personally/through e-mail incharge.glnc[AT]kuk.ac.in.

** Please prepare and send your students for participation in all the above Competitions.
** Both the competitions shall be held simultaneously and all schools can send separate teams.
** Decision of the judges will be final and no representation/complaint will be entertained in this regard.
** No TA/ DA will be admissible for the purpose of participation.
** Prizes along with certificates will be given by the Chief Guest on 04-07-2024 in the Birth Anniversary function.
