V-GenUTH Quiz Contest :

As you are aware Vijaya Bank, under the auspices of the Vijaya Bank Cultural Club, sponsors an Annual State Level Inter High School Quiz Competition.

Contest Date : 24th January 2016 Sunday

The quiz is popularly known as the “Vijaya Bank V-GenUTH Quiz contest”. It is a popular quiz at the state level where a large number of schools participate and attractive prizes are offered to the participants. The quiz is conducted by country’s Top quiz master Sri Giri Balasubramaniam, popularly known as “pickbrain” of Quizine. We are happy to announce and invite the participation of your school to the 30th edition of the Annual Quiz Contest to be held on Sunday the 24th January, 2016.

Teams:
Maximum of 4 students per school comprising of 2 teams of 2 students each studying in Class 8th to 10th.

Entries :
Entries as per proforma enclosed with the participants’ names, age and class in which the student is studying should be sent on the school’s letterhead duly signed by the Head of the Institution, affixing the seal thereof.

09.00 a.m. – Reporting of teams and registration
10.00 a.m. – Commencement of Preliminary round
11.00 a.m. – Commencement of Final round for eight teams
12.30 p.m. – Prize distribution

Last Date To Receive Entries:
15h January 2016. However, SPOT ENTRIES are also accepted up to 9.45 A.M on the day of the event.( Entries as per proforma enclosed with the participants’ names, age and class in which studying should be sent on the school’s letter head duly signed by the Head of the Institution with seal affixed)

Rules:
1. Outstation teams should make their own arrangements for their travel and stay etc.
2. Quiz Master’s decision is final and no discussion/ correspondence will be entertained.
3. After the preliminary round eight teams will be selected to participate in the finals
4. Participants should bring their photo identity cards.

** Cash awards & Certificates to the winning team members and Rolling shield & Permanent Trophy to the concerned school.
** Cash awards and Certificates to the first runners up team members and Rolling shield & Trophy to the concerned school.

** Cash awards and Certificates to all the other five teams, which qualify for the final.
** Cash award and certificate to Best Out-Station Team members and Trophy to the concerned school.

** Attractive prizes for the winners of the questions posted to the audience.

Lucky Winners:
Each team will be given a questionnaire and a write-up on VIJAYA BANK & a pamphlet on Bank’s V-GenUTH scheme at the time of registration. The questions may be answered by referring the write-up. Completed questionnaires are to be dropped into the box kept in the Auditorium, any time before the commencement of final round. The questionnaires, with all the correct answers will be selected for the lucky draw. There will be five Lucky winners. However the finalist teams will not be considered for the lucky draw.
