What is MyGov Yog Geet Jingle Contest?

To commemorate the International Yoga Day, Ministry of AYUSH (MoA) in collaboration with MyGov is inviting citizens to write and compose a Yog Geet (Yog Geet / Jingle) for the upcoming International Day of Yoga, 2026 in official Indian language as mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian constitution along with English and other UN languages. Winners will be rewarded with Rs.50,000/- each. Last date of contest is 20th April 2026.

Eligibility of MyGov Yog Geet Jingle Contest

** The contest is open to Indian Nationals only.
** The applicant must be at least 18 years of age to submit an entry.
** Employees of the Ministry of AYUSH, organizers, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

How To Enter in the MyGov Yog Geet Jingle Contest?

Each participant may submit one entry on the MyGov portal. No direct entries to MoA will be accepted.

Participation Guidelines:
1. Participants must provide a script and a Yog Geet / Jingle of 25-30 seconds in any official Indian language (as per the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution), English, or other UN languages.
2. The composition should be easy to understand, engaging, peppy, and should effectively connect with the public.
3. The high-quality audio file must be uploaded to a media platform such as SoundCloud, YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., with a publicly accessible link shared in the comments section.
4. The script must be submitted separately as a PDF document along with the audio entry.
5. The applicant must be at least 18 years of age to submit an entry

Winner will be rewarded Rs. 50,000/-

Note:
** The Yog Geet / Jingle can be in any official Indian language as mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian constitution along with English and other UN languages.
** Entries must adhere to the specifications mentioned; deviations may lead to disqualification.
** Participants must ensure their MyGov profile is accurate and up to date, including details like name, address, email ID, and phone number. Incomplete profiles will not be considered.
** All entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, and composition by a selection committee.
** Entries violating the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 or infringing on others’ intellectual property will be disqualified. The Government of India bears no responsibility for such violations.
** The MoA reserve the right to reject entries deemed unsuitable or non-compliant.
** The MoA reserve the right to amend or cancel the contest and its terms at any time. Changes will be updated on the MyGov platform.
** Entries must be submitted by the closing date as specified. Late, lost, or incompleteentries due to technical errors will not be considered, and proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
** All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi courts. Participants are responsible for their legal expenses.
** Participants agree to abide by the contest’s terms and regulations and any amendments.
