What is CREST Science Olympiad?
The CREST Science Olympiad (CSO) is an international competitive exam held online for students in Grades KG-10. There will be 2 levels for students of all Grades i.e. KG-10. The exam is an objective-type test that the students need to complete in 60 minutes. For students of Classes KG and 1, the exam will be parent/teacher assisted. The time of the exam will be 45 minutes for KG students. Last date to register for the exam before November. Level 1 exam will be held on 03rd December 2026 & 12th December 2026.

Eligibility of CREST Science Olympiad
a. Students can participate in the examination both through school and individually.
b. Candidates studying in grades KG – 10 are eligible to participate in the level 1 examination.
c. Since it is an international Olympiad, students from across the world are eligible to participate in the examination.
How To Register For CREST Science Olympiad?
Registration of Students Through Schools:
Students from Classes KG – 10 are eligible to take CREST Olympiads. Prospectus containing the registration forms are sent to all schools registered with CREST Olympiads. If your school is not registered with us, then please send an email to info@crestolympiads.com and we will send you the prospectus soon. It is mandatory for schools to return the registration forms to CREST Olympiads, duly filled in and complete in all respects by the due date.
Registration For Individual Participants:
If your school does not conduct Olympiads, then you can register as an individual participant as well.

Syllabus of CREST Science Olympiad
The CREST Science Olympiad gives a platform to showcase their talent & examine their skill sets in the field of Science and technology. The exam prepares children for other national & international competitions as well. The CREST Science Olympiad syllabus is categorized into two sections. The international Science Olympiad syllabus for the CSO exam varies from smaller to higher classes with increasing difficulty. All the questions are specially curated by experienced mentors and professionals to test students’ scientific skills.
As we read above, the question paper is divided into 2 sections. Each section has a different marking scheme. The marking scheme varies for each question and each class.
a. For KG, the total weightage of the paper is 30 marks.
b. For 1-4, the total weightage of the paper is 45 marks.
c. For 5-10, the total weightage of the paper is 60 marks.

The CREST Olympiads awards and recognition offered to students are as follows:
a. CREST Olympiads provides students with amazing and exciting awards. There are prizes for 50% of the top scorers.
b. Achiever’s Trophies + Merit Certificates to International Ranks 1-3.
c. Medals to the top 10% of students.
d. Merit Certificates to the top 25% of students.
e. Honourable Mention Certificates to the top 25%-50% of students.
f. All participants will get a Digital participation certificate.
